It is not illegal.
However, its more than likely against the Managers own contract.
Which is why they stuffed you instead of getting sacked themselves..Not Again0 -
That doesn't really matter westie - you need to appeal the decision. The letter that you had should have told you this.
You would also be advised to get proper legal assistance to do so.
It might help your case if you actually explained step by step their disciplinary process so that if there are any issues, we could point that out to you to assist your case.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -

well the obvious one ive been accused of theft i didnt take it so another member of staff has, other people had access to cash safe an day end,
they have called me a thief and have no evidence at all,
why didnt they call the police,
why only one till counted on this specific day,
why did they not continue counting tills after they thought i was thieving,
why after ten years would i just start pinching after no incidents in all that time,
never in all that ten years has any money gone missing
why was the manager not suspended
and seen as they have no proof why was he not sacked along with me
is that enough
dont deflect the issue!whats that supposed to mean0 -

You need to stop moaning about being badly treated and proof etc aand concentrate on relevant points which is they havent treated everyone the same.
They dont need to prove you stole the money so stop going on about this.
They should show reasonably that you are a fair suspect. Push on why if they suspect you they dont suspect anyone else.0 -

i honestly cannot see how they dont need proof to accuse someone of theft, and then just sack them, really it leaves anyone liable to the sack if a manager just takes a dislike to them but sorry for going on as you put it but i have just lost my job for doing nothing, get this I HAVENT DONE ANYTHING NOT PINCHED ANYTHING i want to clear my name more than anything ill never get another job with this bull chit on my record will i0 -
anyway ill find out im sure in the next week or so but thanks all for ya replys time to get on with that letter0
