Oh and perhaps ask if they'd like to put a mattress in the garden too along with a few spare tyres you have kicking around! :rotfl:
Sorry, but really! 3 dogs is a lot by the way and I can't see your dogs never once uttering a single bark. You can't vet all your neighbours. Get a leylandii.0 -
Did you not think to ask BEFORE buying and get it in writing that the rest of the properties would be private sales??? If not, then you have no leg to stand on!
I do feel for you though, as I specifically asked when buying my flat if any of the others in the block would be social housing, and was told that 25% would be for key workers, but no social housing.
Having lived on a street with 50% housing association, then NEVER again! And before anyone has a go at me, I am NOT saying all HA tenants are a nightmare. 95% of them are lovely, but the other 5% cause 95% of the problems. With a private tenant, it's SO easy to get their tenancy ended (as already done with one noisy disrespectful private tenant where I own a flat), but HA tenants are a nightmare to get rid of!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

Why is it that people think that all HA tenants are the same. Some of us respect our property, and neighbours. You may be suprised at which houses are owned, and which are HA. With you attitude though, i think that i would rather live next door to a HA tenant who appreciates their home rather than someone like you who owns their home and thinks they are better than me.
I dont think im better than anybody else just because i own a house, i was renting for yrs. Im just annoyed that we was mislead by the developer.
As for next door the garden is full of dog mess and (with the young mother of 6 kids who is heavily pregnant) looks like its going to stay that way full of crap..
Should be lovely in the summer months not:undecided:undecided0 -
A dog left outside all day and barking is a real nightmare to live next to. Have you asked the neighbours to take the dog in or train it not to do this?
If they are out all day and leave the dog in the garden I would contact council/RSPCA because that is definitely a no no!0 -

All my dogs have been rescued from chavs from council estates. Yes they bark, they also get taken out unlike the poor little shitz hu who has no choice but to sit outside all day, i have never seen it on a lead going for a walk.:undecided:undecided0 -
There is also a family who are renting 2 doors up they have 3 dogs also and are having a real issue too as there dogs dont like the shitz hu either. lol:undecided:undecided0

Brighthouse might remove it when they bring them a new 1 :rotfl::rotfl::undecided:undecided0 -
Yep, that's her neighbour!
One of the council lot round here have a shihtzu, I thought they were pedigree and out of the normal plebs budget?
Seriously though. If your neighbours are HA tenants then get in touch with the HA, find out who is responsible for that estate and keep a diary of all happenings. Think yourself lucky that they don't own the house or you would never get rid of them.
Chavs or not, some home owners can be real nightmares and I don't like this stereotyping of tenants as chavs. Yes some of them are despicable, but that's just people for you and it's not fair to dump that label just on tenants. You ask anyone on this site and almost everyone will have or have had in the past a nightmare neighbour and a large proportion of them will have been owners.
All the houses on your estate could have been sold and you'd still get the odd one who is a nuisance neighbour. It's just life.
Victoria Beckham has 4 kids, Ulrika Johnsson has a housefull all by different dads, Angelina Jolie and Madonna run their own kids homes etc, now THEY would be nightmare neighbours. I'd rather live next door to kids than dogs. Dogs are the bane of my life.0
