How bad is your air conditioning?

It's going to need a recharge at some point this year I think (which will mean converting to R134a :(), but I'm on about days where the car will rapidly heat up in the sunlight. Doesn't help that it's a black car.

But it still shouldn't take fifteen minutes to cool a car down.
The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark

Uhh. This was to keep it cool. I thought that would've been fairly obvious given I'm describing a situation of being parked up in a layby next to a burger van.

I really don't understand this - why is it illegal to leave a motor running and nip back in for a brew.

Another example of the law being an !!!?

If you start your car on the road then get out and leave it running your insurers will confirm you are an !!!! by not paying out when the local trash "takes" it
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

Yes, yes. I've absorbed that bit thank you. I was asking why it was illegal (as opposed to just ill-advised).
