    Hi
I have 20 plus years energy experience.(I have removed the spam.)

Welcome to Mse.I remember a few years ago Utility Warehouse seemed cheap if not the cheapest. All of a sudden with the increased prices all companies had to put their prices up but it seems UW went even higher.
Do I pay £804 with Powergen,or go for UW price of £935-£941?Or so that's what it seems like on www.energyhelpline.com example.
If there are any new customers wishing to join Powergen use the link on this site or visit www.quidco.com for the £30 cashback.Register and login(clear your cookies )
Wow mine actually is £804-£30 & if I turn the heating down 20% who knows £600+

Which is the Powergen number I should call to change to this plan, there are 2 on my bill - 0800-052-0346 or 0800-056-4256?

I am currently on Economy 7, receiving a paper bill and paying upon receipt of the bill. Do I need to pay off my previous bill first before I can switch to this plan? And what other changes will there be from how I currently receive and pay my bills?

    Thanks!

    Hi Samsky
I got this one from www.saynoto0870.com and also I am an internet customer.
  • Just received the correspondence regarding switch to energy online winter saver, are we all getting these discounts ? -

    Payment method Fixed Direct debit
    D/D Discount 3%
    Duel Fuel Dis 3%
    Duel Fuel D/D Discount 3%
    Energy Online Discount 2%
    Promo Discount Til 31/01/2008 5%

These are the same for both gas and electricity.

Thought i`d post this just in case anyones missing out on any.
  • After checking my Powergen bill it was clear I wasn't getting any discounts at all. So I registered for the online bill and then called them after an hour or so to request the winter saver tariff. He did it there and then and confirmed that under no circumstances would this make me worse off - I was on their bog-standard tariff previously. Many thanks to OP.

Are you sure you weren't getting any discount before? If you have both gas and electricity and pay by monthly DD then you should have been getting 9%.

Good point. There was nothing apparent on my bills and I didn't ask when I called. They will confirm the new plan in writing and I'll check then.
