not allowed to tow on motor ways

but then your not allowed to follow at less about a meter away

You can. So long as it's a fixed bar tow, linked to the steering arms of the car so there is no need for a second driver.

I think what you mean is you can't tow on a motorway with someone in the towed vehicle. Other wise how would people be allowed to tow caravans or trailers ?

Have you ever had to deal with tramlining? I mean proper tramlining like you get with low profile tyres and modified suspension. It's at a minimum very off-putting and in worst case can be dangerous since you end up swerving around all over the place!

Sort your car out then. I drive an B7 Audi A4 Avant Quattro with 235/40 R18s with silly low s-line suspension and although suffer from tramlining slightly I just move slightly to the left or right of the groves in the road.

Middle lane hoggers are also the cause of a lot of traffic issues in the UK. Get rid of poor driving on our motorways in general and a lot of traffic issues would be resolved

also if you had lowered it properly and alter the pivoting angles of the wishbone, the camber and castor it goes away all the lowering does is upset the geometry so if you set it all back with a bit of welding and such like the tramlining goes away

Tramlining is a tyre issue, either they're worn or just the wrong tyre's for the cars setup.... Manufacturers spend millions of £ and months of testing to find suitable tyre's for their cars, when you frig with your car and then shove any old tyre on it, your asking for trouble.
Tell me about it!! The worst I had was on a Supra, no idea what the previous owner had done to it in an attempt to make it 'look cool', but it felt like he'd hacked the springs in half and stuck some wheels on that were 3" too big with stretched undersized tyres! I did eventually buy some proper fitting wheels and sorted the suspension to a normal height and it was fine. Bloody boy racers!!

That I wanted a reliable fast car and wasn't put off by chavvy mods as they're easy to replace?

    Should be shot.....

Driving Leeds to London and back yesterday I got sick of the amount of people that think the middle lane is for them to pootle along with no care in the world while the 1st lane is completely empty...

I am travelling at around 70mph and have to move over to lane 3 to overtake these people as undertaking is not really allowed...

What was funny was one of the signs just outside London actually states 'Drive in the left hand lane' yet this was ignored by a few drivers while I had the whole of lane 1 to myself...

Personally, I think there should be a fine or points for Middle Lane hoggers....

    Rant over.....

And they probably 'learnt to drive' with the same instructors who teach drivers when turning right..to cut the b***y corner..
