Come back when you actually know what you are talking about.
You clearly do not, sadly you are like many instructors, you only think that you know what the standards are.
I do know what I am talking about. You on the other hand are an ignorant troll who knows nothing. An instructor who does not know what standards are required is not going to get very far. But you seem incapable of grasping this very basic point."You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"

Wrong again, I am not, nor ever have been a Driving Instructor, do try stick to what you know, which granted isn't very much.
Where did your thread go yesterday, did MSE deem it inappropriate ?
That explains why you know naff all about the driving test and the standards required then. When you know something about this subject, please feel free to contribute, but until you acquire such knowledge you would be far better off keeping quiet, rather than making yourself look more stupid with every post you put on here."You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"

If he has a driving licence then he knows what most people will know about it, including the ones who agree with you.;)0 -

Wrong, you posted this earlier;
Driving test examiners will expect a test candidate to keep up with the flow of traffic and if the conditions allow they will expect the candidate to be able to demonstrate that they can drive safely at the speed limit and make adequate progress. If they drive at a speed which is below the speed limit in conditions which are deemed safe to drive faster then they will be failed for this.
That is 100% incorrect.
That would mean that a test candidate that drove or rode at 65 to 68 mph on a clear national speed limit dual carriageway would fail automatically, that simply is not the case.0 -
I had some stupid bint yesterday pulled out of a side road in front of me on a NSL single carriage way road and just not accelerate at all. I nearly went in the back of her she was going so slow, luckily I wasn't going that fast as I had just come out of a 30 limit. I over took her and looked across and she was shaking her head at me like I was the idiot!!!! Some people should just get the busNothing to see here, move along.0

God these people drive me nuts......
I'll tell you what she did, she saw you traveling at a good pace and thought "i'll show him/her".
She pulled out and deliberately to cause an obstruction, JUST so that you'd react and prove yourself to be the inferior driver.... I'd like to see her do that to a HGV going at the same speed!
My brother had this happen to him when he had a Vauxhall VX220, he was doing 50 mph (past a speed camera in a 50 limit) and some woman pulled out in front of him, the impact trashed his front end as he slammed into the side of her. When he ask why she pulled out, she said "because you were driving too fast", this of course changed when the ins claim was made.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

I would say that it would be vital to observe what is happening on the left hand side of the vehicle, just as much as it is to keep an eye on the front, the right and the rear. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0

Indeed Flyboy, vital IMO.
A work colleague was actually rammed in the side by just such a driver whom he attempted to overtake. Deliberately.
Unfortunately for the driver concerned, my workmate had a camera installed in the car which managed to catch the incident.
Driver got a ban for dangerous driving.
There are some bl**dy psychos on the road, and they're not all the fast ones.0
