Im so sorry. I have just picked up this thread over the last few days and I have been watching it unravel. The situation is just appauling and I wish I could help. I too have been where you are now and for some reason I have survived. Dont know how really. There is no secret on how to survive these hard times - you just do. You will get through though - have faith in yourself and your family.....

You did tell the CAB about the eviction notice as well didn't you? Hopefully they are able to point you in the direction of some practical help - you surely need it right now! Keep going one day at a time and know that everyone is rooting for you and yours.

ive missed a few, but thanks for your suggestions i dont feel so much dispear now, I will get SSP on the last friday of the month and OH gets his wages last working day.

This really surprises me ; I assess Crisis Loan Decision Makers as an independant, and they have a mandatory script, during which they will give you an idea of whether they think the system will grant you a CL or not, then give you the choice as to whether to complte the application. CL can only be given for food, and gas and electric on key/card meters, so they will not loan for anything else. I would try again, bearing this in mind. If you explain that you have no food, as the bank has frozen you account and you will not even be able to access the CB, I would think your application would be accepted. Make sure you make the full application. If it is rejected, ask about an appeal.

This is notice that the landlord wants to re-possess. It does not allow them to repossess.

You need to sit tight when the time is up and wait for the court case. You may well get two months after the court case, so the chances are we are talking 5-7 months before you have to leave, perhaps longer.

Some councils regard you are making yourself homeless if you leave before the bailiffs are booked.

And is your deposit registered with one of the required agencies?

So sorry to hear about how tough things are atm.

I work for an occupational benevolent fund and there are lots and lots of charities that can help short or long term based on your OH's or your employment (doesn't have to be current). There are also loads of charities that will help people based on faith, area they live in, area of birth - in fact all manner of weird and wonderful guidelines.

To search for help go to https://www.turn2us.org.uk and you can check under any of the categories listed. Just as a tip, because the occupation isn't listed in the drop down list doesn't mean a fund doesn't exist - type your jobs in and see what comes up.

PS - having seen the post about your LL selling up, they may be able to help with a deposit on somewhere new.
