    ibz to stn

    31.05.11

£226.85 (adults $44.99 each, child £44.99, infant £20) online check in £18 taxes and fees £53.99

so again I ask the question whats your point?
Not in June, for a start and you forgot to include baggage it appears.

    What was the BA breakdown?

The point is that it doesn't seem as though RyanUnfair are as cheap as we are being led to believe.

So whats june got to do with it? im sure if i could be bothered I could find plenty of days when ryanair is half the price of ba.

one other quick point is i live nowhere near lgw but im close to stn so thats my prefered airport, and i work there too, so such comparisons are pointless

you obviously have a cross to bear so i will let you go on with your bad self and be happy in the knowledge that on the next on schedule flight with ryanair that im not sharing a flight with you.

Your extreme rudeness aside, I have no idea what the heck you are on about. If you didn't care what I think, why respond in the first place?

"extreme rudeness" you must be a sensitive soul!!

I responded to highlight how pointless your post was and Im sure anyone else who reads this thread will agree with me.

As far as having no idea what the heck im on about maybe you should get someone to read my response to you.

I had to book a last minute flight two weeks ago.
Easyjet wanted £75, whereas BA wanted £370 (or 9k miles and £70).
    No contest.

Thing is, revenue management means you'll always find cheaper flights on different airlines at different times. However if you matched bucket for bucket LCCs always price lower.

Can you not help being rude?

I don't think phatbear is being rude, simply demonstrating that anyone can fit statistics to fit their argument in they want to!
    Gone ... or have I?

Is it just me or, as a result of some silly Spanish man the result of this is actually Passengers 0 - Ryanair 1?

Indeed they can and there is nothing wrong with expressing an opinion, but that wasn't the point. He could have said all of that without adding:

As far as having no idea what the heck im on about maybe you should get someone to read my response to you.

That is what I consider to be unnecessarily rude. I had not been rude to him. If I had been anything other that courteous, it was indifference, but not rudeness. If someone has to use surly and impolite rhetoric, their arguments can never be as strong as they wish them to be. In fact, the point they are trying to make, may be perfectly valid, but by adding churlish remarks, devalues what they have to say.
