Got an interview at 5pm today, i know i'm going to get more nervous as the day goes on.
Welcome, and good luckFruitloops wrote: »So much for that positive feeling lasting the week, I feel really down todayand I'm so sick of people not getting back to me, even if I'm just enquiring about something, it's so frustrating
That's the most annoying thing ever! It's really not that difficult to acknowledge people who have spent the time applying. Don't they realise how time consuming it is filling out application forms. Is it just me or are things getting worse? I'm finding a LOT less jobs than I did a month ago...
DEFINITELY getting worse!
I have just completed my 18th application form in 2 months! It's getting stupid now.Saved: £1566.53/ £20000 -
Applied for 4 jobs, and not much else to be found today.

Been very little work in my area for the last couple of weeks. Im looking for admin work and this seems to have dried up totally after initially there being a few vacancies.
Im waiting to hear back from a temp job down the road which would at least bring some money in for a bit.
Im off to my first interview tommorow and brickin it!
Im having to travel out of the area for this job (another temp vacancy).
There are some jobs in the nearest city to me but after enquiring with Jobcentre they are unwilling to pay anything towards travel costs. A train fare would account for nearly a quarter of my jobseekers for the week. So i am having to be selective when looking for any jobs in that area as i simply cant afford the travel to a job im unlikely to get.
if i dont find something in the next few weeks im going to have to broaden my job types.
Im already looking at 10 hour a week cleaning jobs as this and care work seem to be the biggest employment sectors in our area.0 -

There seem to be a fair few cleaning jobs in my area too. Applied for one via email and never heard back. I'd still rather try and stick to the areas I've already worked in but if it comes to it i'll be applying for more cleaning ones.
Good luck for tomorrowSaved: £1566.53/ £20000
