    What are the questions?

Oh dear, gone way off course already, applied for a random job and then started spring cleaning. You know when you start and you just want to do it all? Got all the windows open FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MONTHS!! :):):) (and that's what all my plans flew out of)

The interview questions I put up ages ago, I've added them to the first post so that everyone can find them easily.

That sounds far more enjoyable than this job hunting malarky! :rotfl:

    I don't blame you.

So far today I've cleaned the bathroom (in fact I did that before 8.30!!) applied for 2 admin jobs and cleaned the inside of my car, the outside can wait until another day. It's actually really nice outside in the sun.

I'm going to phone about another admin job later, left a message at 9 this morning so if they don't get back to me I'll try again in another hour.

Got a call about a job surrounded by boxes and clothes everywhere, a little flustered! Interview with recruiter tomorrow, nice.

I know I am putting my winter clothes away too soon...

I shouldn't jinx it, but I am having less down days now, I think it is this thread and Spring being on its way. Two months ago I found it hard to recover from the job search sometimes.

    Thanks again Drea!
  • I think the worst thing about losing your job is the loss of confidence that happens so quickly you dont realise it (or is it just me?)
Up soon for my first job interview in years. Ive looked at the criteria for the job again and doubting whether i am capable of doing the job now. I just get the fear i am out of my depth.

I really struggled with this, (and didn't realise how bad I had got). Just list the things you did do and how well you did them! For a long time I could not take ownership of my achievements, and visiting the JC made it worse.
It has been a long journey, but the final kick up the bum was an interview I had last week where I was clearly better than the interviewer, could have knocked him into a cocked hat! Shame interviews are hard to get as they really help the most.

I did feel that my last job had taken everything away from me, but logically, that isn't possible, so I took it all back.

Also, I took various interview style tests and quizzes on my skills on the net, and I really impressed myself.

If anyone in Manchester/surrounding areas is looking for a temp job PM me.

I am not a rec consultant by the way.

So that's that for now. One job finished, but if I haven't found another better job in 2 weeks I'll be back there :D That's when the work is coming in. There will be me and 3 other people in the job. And seeing as I'm the one who knows the system they'll want me back. It's a shame it isn't on a higher wage, but the company only just recently started up, so it's understandable.

I am half looking forward to working on it, as the footage I'll be logging should have me in stitches. The only problem is the detail that's wanted, it's more than I usually to do, but oh well.

Does anyone else find when they work, they really look forward to their days off, but when you're not working you just want to work?

Too right I do. I'm desperate to be working, this not doing anything is driving me crazy.

I remember my job at Christmas. I finished one job had 1 day off, then worked 11 days straight in the new job, with it ending on Christmas Day. I remember REALLY looking forward to some time off. But then it just went a bit too long... lol

Same here. I really, really want to work but you can bet when I eventually get a job I'll do nothing but look forward to weekends! I hate weekends at the moment as I feel it just means another week has passed and I still haven't got a job.

I think possibly with me the problem is that I don't have enough money to actually enjoy the time I'm not working. I spend all my money on living expenses and there isn't any left for enjoying myself.

Anyway I've got an interview at 2.30pm today and I'm really nervous (more so than usual for some reason). Wish me luck (I need it!).
