Support Each Other In Looking For Work?

Ok sorry in advance as this is going to be a bit of a moan! I feel really down today, I've just found out that my cousin has got an interview for her friend at her place of work. She knows that I have been looking for something and although I would not want her to do me any favours by getting me an interview I feel that if she had just have told me then I would have got an interview on my own merit, I have all the experience that they could possibly want. I'm so angry and hurt that she would not even let me know!

I just got my first rejection out of all the jobs I have applied for. Didn't even get an interview

Hi everyone, new to the thread but i'm on the job hunt as well.

Got an interview at 5pm today, i know i'm going to get more nervous as the day goes on.

It's a full time position, they haven't advertised a salary which is to be discussed in the interview, so not really looking forward to that but am pleased I got to this stage

So much for that positive feeling lasting the week, I feel really down today and I'm so sick of people not getting back to me, even if I'm just enquiring about something, it's so frustrating

This is bugging me, I went for an interview around 2 months ago to do general customer service work. They turned me down and they have been looking ever since. They are paying NMW and asking for someone who drives AND someone who speaks Welsh. Driving would be helpful for the job, I admit. But speaking Welsh really isn't part of the job! How much do companies want these days when they are paying next to nothing?

I'm sure if they pay more then Welsh speaking people who drive would be more than happy to go work for them!
