Hmm suddenly I just had a burst of energy and cleaned the kitchen whilst dancing to Biffy Clyro... strange.
I need to get out the house sometime! Oh well I will tomorrow, got to return some boots I bought online.
I just wish I was working, my life is a schedule almost then, I hate not having things planned.0 -

It is horrible feeling like there is no purpose to each day. I've been setting my alarm early to keep me getting used to getting up but half the time I feel sleepy in the afternoon from lack of doing anything
Oh and panic over, I haven't got to plan an activity myself. They just want to see how I interact with children doing a jigsaw or a small game so it sounds like they will give me something to use.Saved: £1566.53/ £20000 -

No singing and dancing then!!!! Seriously good luck.
I was watching the earthquake in New Zealand earlier - it kind of put things into perspective for me a bit and made me think this country (and me) may have its problems but at least our earthquakes are small ones!0 -

I saw another two jobs to apply for, one of them has a salary I could only dream of earning but the job description matches my skills so I thought why not.
One recruitment agent returned back to me about the job she put me forward for on Friday, nothing yet.... I'm getting the sneeking suspicion she's getting a tad bit annoyed with my persistance
I received confirmation in the mail of my Enhanced Disclosure which I need for the temp job. I've noticed a few of the roles I've applied for require this so it's good to have it, I've added it to my CV0 -
Well done to those who have jobs.

Hi all.
I was recently extremely lucky to get accepted onto a course at Zenos IT Academy. A 22 week apprenticeship gaining a range of qualifications in IT whilst also giving me 22 weeks of experience. 60 students were taken on in the Bristol academy and each and every one of us were led to believe that Zenos would put FULL effort into getting us employment at the end. No disrespect, but the effort and amount of jobs they have found is abysmal. Every job they have found for me so far I've already applied for or don't have the necessary '2 years experience' that employers need.
Apart from that. I've applied for close to 30 jobs in the last six weeks and have not received a single reply from an employer. I'm applying directly through online applications, through recruitment sites and sending my CV to the employer. what am I doing wrong???0 -

Hi, welcome. I sure wish we didn't need this thread but it does provide valuable support.
If you go back a few pages you should find a post by Drea that lists a whole load of interview questions that can be asked by interviewers and suggestions of questions that you can use as the interviewee.
Markgeorge,
Welcome to the forums, try not to feel despondent about not getting responses from applications, there are so many applicants for jobs at the moment that unless your skills match exactly you're probably not going to get a response. Don't let it stop you applying though.
Hope everybody has a good day today, i'm having a rotten week as i'm suffering with an attack of gout and spent yesterday morning trying to track the folks down in New Zealand. (they left Christchurch at the end of last week luckily). There seems to be hardly anything on the job pages, I didn't even get any alerts in overnight from the sites i'm registered with.
Catch you all later.0 -
Thanku Stew68, I will take a look :-)
Markgeorge, what kinda jobs are u going for? Are they ones that have a person specification u could match your supporting evidence to, do u have someone to proof read it for you too? I know I myself make some errors that might be worded better by anothe eye. Hope something comes up very soon! ;-)any help is much appreciated
