yeah was quite good, got up around 5 15 to get to work for 6 and was home by about 10 30. Feels different due to not having worked at 6 before.
  • Glad it went well.

Had one interview on Tuesday - unfortunately as I only got back from holiday late on Sunday with no internet and then was looking after 2 young children on Monday so had very little time to prepare. Was fine on my experience but struggled a bit on the company so not sure I'll have got through that one. The man did say at the end it was one of the more interesting interviews he'ld done - not sure if that's good or not. At least I entertained him!

Got another interview on 27th but nothing imbetween yet. Quite busy anyway as I have 1 child home all week this week and another at school and next week 1 part-time and 1 full-time school plus all the catching up from hols to do. Just counted had 14 interviews now - must be doing something wrong at them though at least I get interviews fine. Good luck to everyone job hunting.

After feeling down heartened yesterday & not seeing one job that I could apply for a perfect one came up today on the website it's at a local College so I have spent today tweaking my CV & writing my covering letter.;) However as it is a term only & fits in with school time job these jobs are normally like rocking horse poo round here:rotfl: & the College hardly ever recruit so I expect there will be a lot of applicants but you " Have to be in it to win it!" (think positive Furny! I tell myself).:) My neighbour this morning said I put myself down too much, I hadn't really noticed but maybe 6 years out of work (been a stay at home mum) has knocked my confidence a bit.:(
  • Well I didn't get the job at the hospital sterilizing department, The interview feedback was good though they said everything went well but unfortunately only had one post to fill for the Saturday position and was told to keep an eye out as they have positions come up quite regularly.

I have been applying for jobs as usual but came across one that I am actually really excited about its for a physicians assistant in anesthesia. This was the first time I had ever heard of such a role and it seems right up my street. It seems like you are after training essentially a junior doctor in your chosen field but without prescribing powers. Lots of scope for moving around departments, the scheme is quite new I would get a training contact for 27 months which includes the completion of a masters degree. so fingers crossed for this one.

I see there are also many congratulations to be said for interviews and the getting of jobs. Well done hope to be joining you all soon.

Just got back from interview and as usual feel pretty flat... could not get an inkling really of what they were thinking.

Won't find out if have got 2nd interview until end of next week... more waiting...

It really is exhausting, this job hunting malarkey!
