Bad news - didn't get job.

Said that they liked me, just that other person had more complaint handling experience. Said they would be happy for me to apply for other roles.

Seriously running out of time to find a job. Tired of worriyng about how I am going to pay my mortgage and bills! :(

Hugs!! I know it won't help but at least you made a really good impression so have your feet a bit further through the door if anything else arises within the company.
It is hard at the moment I try to be confident at the start of each day thinking today may be the day I find something but by late afternoon my confidence gets zapped yet again. :(
Here goes, good Luck everyone, another day...........

Nearly completed my ecdl which I will be glad once its finished
  • after realising it was a-level results day today I remembered that I should really do something about restarting my OU degree- so I dug out all my stuff (had a break since 2007) and gave them a call this morning and I only need to do 1 more course to get my degree. Unfortunately this means that getting a job is now more important than ever if I am to complete the degree within the year!
Now im debt free i want to be fat free too!

Maths & education. I am hoping that the vocational education part will help land her a job at the end (crosses fingers)

Thanks for the support. There is another job opening at the company, so I am going to apply for that one

I know its hard to feel confident with so little job opportunites about. Already had one rejection email for job applied for yesterday.

Few more I am going to apply for tomorrow...and it goes on...

Congratulations and hope it will be the start of more good news.

Fairly quiet at the moment - filled in 2 12 page application forms - don't you just love those ones. Going on holiday for a couple of weeks with the kids next week which will be nice and jobs are completely dead so won't miss anything. Good luck to everyone applying.
  • Had my second ever rejection email.

Sounds bizarre but I'm happy someone actually got back to me yaaaaaaay! :j Agencies haven't proved any use as well, I've been in every day to ask for progress and it's the usual "We'll get in touch if there is something..." Really don't want to push it though?
