It takes so long these days to even get a rejection letter, and you're lucky if you get anything at all! It's the waiting that really is the killer for me
Applying for things knowing it might be a month or 2 before you get any correspondence!
Absolutely agree. When things are happening, i.e., interviews planned, phone calls from agents, I am happy. When nothing happens, I start to fret. Couple of promises but nothing firmly scheduled this week
Done a lot of work in the garden though. Free physical exercise. Been moving paving stones so will have good arm muscles by the end of the summer. Helps me relax as well0 -

Hi, After some advice here!
Worked for a supplier to a major company for many years. Had an interview with major company in April which was unsuccessful (It was one of my first interviews and I am better at interviews now I have more experience)
The major company keeps readvertising the role and the agencies keep passing me the job as it fits my skills.
Should I reapply?0 -

Go for it you have nothing to loose! I have just reapplied for a position I got turned down for a few months ago.
May just be worth checking they don't have a policy where you can't reapply for jobs with them after a certain amount of time as I have found with some companies but otherwise than that you may be just what they are looking for or someone may have just pipped you to the post before, so get applying!.
Good Luck:)0 -

I have another interview in a couple of days. They have already told me what they liked about me, so I will extend on that more during the interview, plus a bit more. Fingers crossed.0

I've got an interview tomorrow. The jobs only part time (11 hours) but anything to hopefully get me away from that Job Centre and hopefully off this work programme.0

Good Luck with your interview !
After managing to be very positive for a few days = I have had a bad day today ! After being in a management role for 11 years I really think I am going to have to go back and start again which I suppose once I accept that is what I have to do I will be ok !!
Hope tomorrow brings good news for all of us out there looking for a jobIf everything happens for a reason - I wish someone would hurry up and tell me the reason !:)0
