I have a second interview with the director on Thursday from Mondays interview so fingers crossed the London plan is working!

Big day today with an interview at 3...hate late interviews.

Location is also going to be interesting for today. On a day to day basis I will (note the optimism lol) be cycling the 3 miles from local railway station. As I fear that cycling in a suit may be a bit off-putting I'll be walking it instead down country lanes and the like. Could be fun!

Thanks, I should be getting a phone call this morning!
I'm also waiting to hear from an interview last week, but the manager is off sick, so that could take a little while - at least they told me.

If their internal doc says 10 days, I'd call after two weeks (therefore making it the 10 'working' days).

I've also not been around for a bit as for the past couple of weeks I've been really down. Then on Monday I went to sign on and got a nice advisor. I poured my heart out to him (poor bloke) and he basically admitted that there is not a lot of jobs available in our area at the moment but that I was doing all I could and they couldn't ask more of me and something really will turn up eventually and he also apologised for not being able to help me more. I wrote him a note on Tuesday apologising for unburdening (is that a word?) myself on him!

Its getting tiring this job search. Still waiting for a reply for an interview i had other week, application form i handed in last week and other day. Not much in the paper either.

Evening all,

I had a surprise phone interview this morning which ended with an invite to an interview this Friday afternoon at 3.15pm. I'm not sure what the pay is or the hours are but it's quite an interesting job. It's lucky that the company I work for in a temporary role at the moment are so accomodating when it comes to time off for interviews, they appreciate the fact that most people are doing this job just as a stop gap while they look for something else.

We need some more good news on this thread so lets hope we get a run of it soon.

Amazon are looking for staff in Staffordshire (Rugeley) and somewhere else I can't remember for their warehouses.

I thought that might be a heads up to those who are in those areas and still looking for jobs.
