925dancer, good luck for tomorrow.

I'm back from my interview. I think I did well, it's my known industry so could answer all his questions thoroughly.
I would have had to really impress though as he's onto second interviews today and he saw me off that back of much talking up by the recruitment agency so I will just have to wait and see.
Said he would try and make a decision today but Monday by the latest. Fingers crossed!0 -
Is a week long enough to enquire if theres an update about a job i applied for or is it too soon, i guess if i call it wouldnt do any harm.
thanks0 -

I think a week is a reasonable time to wait. From experience, I have been given interviews within a week of applying.Competition Wins:

I've been feeling like and unemployable failure this week. I actually said to my mum earlier in the week "I bet I'll be the last unemployed person to get a job" - stupid I know but that's how I feel.
It is easy to feel down about things and people really don't understand if they've not been in our positionExcellent, glad to read that you have your fighting spirit back
I'm glad too!Thanks!
I won myself a Designers Guild cushion today so my lucky streak is continuing, hopefully it lasts until mid morning tomorrow!

Steph try to remember that we have all felt like that at some point when job hunting but you are obviously intelligent and hard working and I am sure that something will come up for you soon!
Thank you.
