    My husband went and saw them a few months ago. I think they wanted about £3-4K for job hunting advice and access to their database. Decided it wasn't worth it.

    Like I said I wasn't too upset about not getting it so never mind, i've still got this "temp" job to tide me over but it's still killing my feet! The interview is 9.45 on Friday morning with one of the directors and if successful a second interview with the MD. Sounds like a really good company so I really want to get this one.

    How's your new job going?

    :eek::eek: £3-4k?
  • Today I am awaiting the result of my second interview on Friday. If I don't get it, it'll be back to the drawing board, and I will have to accept that the job I'm in at the moment may turn out to be a bit more long-term than I had anticipated.

    Tomorrow I have my first day off after doing 8 days in a row so I am looking forward to that! I've already got a long list of things to do though!

    Next week it'll be back on the serious jobhunt, I'm on lates all week, so I'll have time in the mornings to put in a few applications. Just about to update my CV to include my current job.

    Hi all,

    I have an interview this afternoon after losing my job last October - had a couple of temping jobs in between but that ended in April. I have to say - I am bricking it........!!!! I am so tired of checking all the jobsites everyday and becoming more and more disheartened so fingers crossed.........

    I have had my phonecall from the job centre and I am going to see them on Thursday (about an hour after my interview).

    I went to the C.A.B this morning and it was just.. tedious. I saw someone to be assessed who commented on how I was dismissed by asking if that was the real reason I was dismissed lol and then sent back out to wait for general advice. I waited about 2 hours and saw a gentleman who seemed a bit clueless. He did help me by saying that I can only claim contributions-based JSA which is what some posters said on my other thread :).

    I am going to eat lunch and then possibly start on all my application forms if my cats will allow me to lol.

    Good luck to all those attending interviews in the next week, you can do it!
