I've spent the day preparing for/rehearsing interview questions for an interview tomorrow morning- I just hope I don't go to pieces as I really want this job!
Nothing for me on job websites at all today, and no useful calls from recruitment consultants! Oh well I'll keep my fingers crossed for tomorrow0 -
Does anyone else find the days really drag without a job?? There's nothing to wake up for, and the Real Deal theme tune is starting to drive me mad.
Yes, they do, and I never thought I'd say I miss going to work, but I do.
Its not even like being retired, when you can take up new things or volenteering for the odd morning a week etc. as you can't commit to anything
I tend to try to space things out. Thursday, these a "back to work" thing at the local council offices 9.00-11am so I shall go to that. Sainsburys on Friday etc.0 -
Well if it helps I didn't find any jobs yesterday so I guess it balances out.
Good luck with the interview tomorrow wine_night.
For everybody else, keep the faith. Something has to be out there for those of us so desperate to work.0 -
Good luck wine night im sure you will do fine!!!!.....0

Ah, thanks everyone! I will let you know how it goes tomorrow!
Best of luck to you all with your searches, applications and any interviews coming up. I'm glad that there are others out there in the same boat. Everything just seems to take so long...or maybe I'm just impatient0 -
To all of you my heart goes out to you. I have just said to my OH how lucky we are in that we still have jobs.
I think the most important thing is that you all keep positive and if you can get help/motivation from each other that is fantastic. Don't let it get you down. Things will change in the end and this is but a crap short period of time in your whole lives.
To all of you that have interviews tomorrow i wish you all the best and to all of you that have had them today fingers crossed....0 -

Excellent news. Well done for taking that step. I'm a long way from Preston but if i'm ever passing by i'll try to remember to pop in and purchase some chocolates.
Feel free to pop in and give some support and let us know how you're getting on.0
