I'm having a good cry right now. I'm SO fed up. I STILL haven't heard from BHS about an interview I had 3 weeks ago. Think I'll chase them up again.
Had an interview at Next this morning and think I can safely say I didn't get it, was told I'd know by Wednesday but a friend had an interview this afternoon and has got a job!! It's SO unfair. She only needs it for the Summer til September.
Also had my long hair cut short and HATE it.
Rant over
I think that this might be a good time to splash out on the Ben & Jerry's, and then lace it with chocolate.

Well they have to make a decision before my claim can be made payable. They think I'm a student, which I'm not, but I was doing a evening class in Spanish and I did 2 days training for some volunteering which they need to take into account before they decide I am available for work! Will be phoning them again tomorrow to chase it up though.0 -
Just finished my job on Sunday. May be back for a day or half a day this week. I've claimed JSA because nothing's guaranteed! Might be back at my other old job, but haven't heard back yet
Don't want to be out of work for too long, I enjoyed today doing nothing been working 11 days in a row!0 -

That's too bad. I hate it when employers don't bother contacting you. Why do you think you didn't get the Next job??
I'm just making assumptions seeing as the friend of mine got offered a position right there and then. I'll wait and see though as I was told I'd hear by Wednesday so it could be she was interviewing for different jobs.
The REALLY annoying thing is that she wasn't going to go and I stupidly told her she should! Wish I hadn't said anything now. That'll teach me to be too niceSaved: £1566.53/ £20000 -
Steph do you feel better today? I hope you do, I felt really down yesterday too but have put my happy head back on today!
I think that unless people have been in this situation then they don't understand how soul destroying the relentless searching is! I watched that Panaroma programme last night about the unemployed in Rhyl yesterday and found it really interesting.
Hope we all have a better day today than we did yesterday.0 -
Just thought I'd drop in and day that, although my partner still hasn't got a job, he has won a victory against the man who made him redundant. The !!!!!! just settled out of court a month before the IT hearing.0

Morning everyone
Just applied for another job, and did three applications yesterday. Also chased up a job yesterday which closed 10 days ago, they won't be letting people know for another fortnight but at least I haven't been ruled out yet, I spent ages on the application form.
The advert for the job show on C4 tonight is peeing me off. "There are jobs out there" yes love, but there's hundreds of people going for each one.
Steph, I had an interview at Next last month and never got it. Did you have to do half an hour on the shop floor? I was on greeting, it was awful. I hate those people when I go shopping myself. Just let me shop in peace!0
