Isn't it annoying when you see an ad coming up AGAIN when you've already applied.... twice :rotfl:Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0

The company must be really fussy and not able to find that perfect person, or it's a fake ad. I can't see no applicants applying in this climate.0

Drea and Stew, sounds like both your interviews went really well. Hopefully, and I mean this in the nicest possible way, we won't be seeing you in this topic for too much longerIsn't it annoying when you see an ad coming up AGAIN when you've already applied.... twice :rotfl:
Yes!! It's happened to me a few times now, really annoying!! And even more annoying when the company haven't got in touch to say 'thanks but no thanks' regarding your application, you just have to guess they don't want you.0 -
Surely they must know I'm the perfect one?
I could do that job easily, it's just irritating they don't give me a chance! Can't get a hold of the woman who cancelled yesterdays interview either, wondering if that'll be a dead end now too.
Still, onwards and upwards.Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0 -
Quick show of hands required please
My interview tomorrow (I have an interview, incase you didn't already know from me obsessing over it) is just an admin role. I have a copy of a poster made for my dissertation, and at uni we were always advised to use this in interviews. It's really pretty, colourful with lot's of pics and it's pretty easy to understand. It explains my research I carried out which looked into brain training games, so is interesting even if you are not interested in Psychology as many people play the games. I'll stop trying to sell it now.
My question is should I not bother taking this with me tomorrow? It's not relevent for the role is it?
It's just soooo pretty and I'm really proud of it :rotfl:0 -

Take it with you and if it fits in anywhere then you can always bring it out. I'm not sure it'll be needed though, is your interview in the morning?Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0 -

The only way I can see it been relevent is that it shows I am computer literate, and have good written skills which were mentioned in the job description. I don't think I'll bother.
It's not til the afternoon, so I have the morning to panic0 -

I've not found the need to use anything like that in the past, however it might make you stand out among a list of names that the interviewer(s) are going through at the end of the day trying to remember who was who. They'll certainly remember your poster if you bring it out, can you take it with you and bring it out if you think you can use it?0 -
Admin roles often require you to create power point presentations, etc. so showing you've got design skills with your poster is only a plus. Bring it and show it.0

I had an interview on Monday for a precision engineering company, always swore I would not go back to factory work, but this place seemed very relaxed and the kind of place I could happily spend the rest of my working life. Just got to wait till the end of the week to find-out if I'm one of the lucky ones.Never Knowingly Understood.
