Four hours, did Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, Green Park, St James Park round through Horse Guards Parade, followed the route to Westminster Cathedral, a few rounds to check out the prep for the wedding, through Pimlico to Embankment all the way to Worlds End Chelsea, back up the Kings Road (looking a bit shabby) up the back of Sloane Street, back across the park, quick paddle in Diana's Fountain which is great, then across Little Venice and home. Cycling down a very quiet embankment opposite Battersea Park with the sun reflecting off the Thames was the most superb bit.
My partner came with me who doesn't have a bike, and did the whole tour with me on the Boris Bikes for a fiver! That really rocks.0 -

Opportunities can come along in the most unexpected ways. A temp job for one year may lead to a longer job or even a permanent one. Being inside a company will give you an inside track on what jobs could be upcoming. It's also something extra on your CV, far more preferable than a long spell off work that has to be explained.
I realise that it can be hard to be positive at times but taking a temp job may lead to better things whereas being on the outside reduces your options.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Well that's my postlitivity gone.
My computer is less fooked than it was - but still not right.
I signed on today and they gave me 2 jobs to apply for. One i can't get the application up because of decking pop up blocker. And the other has a wrong email address on it.
So yay for the positive vibes. I give up.

Good morning everyone.
Well yesterday ended up less depressing than I thought. I found a job to apply for :j. I also posted a 'job wanted' ad on gumtree and I've had a few responses. The reason I've held off doing it for so long is because I thought I would just get scammy responses but one does look genuine so I am going to look at that in more detail today. Already done another application this morning which brings me up to a grand total of three since my last visit to JCP . Job day today so hopefully may get a few more apps in.
Have a nice day all.
P.S Drea how did your meeting go with Princes Trust? I'm still waiting for them to get back to me.0 -

Good Morning All!
The job section is looking very thin right now, I have a meeting in a couple of hours with a recruitment advisor who thinks that she may have some opportunities for me so hopefully something will come from that. I found one job to apply for last night but that was it, really do hope that it picks up soon.0 -
