Can't seem to find anything to apply for today, but it's April tomorrow so fingers crossed it picks up a bit and there will be loads of jobs for us all!0

Just been for job interview. I think it went really well. They seemed pretty impressed with a few of the responses I gave to the questions they asked me and overall I think I gave a good account of myself. I also had a typing test and finance test which I checked and checked again and did it within the time period allowed completely accurately.
The job would be perfect, 2 min walk away from my wee ones school, 9-1 mon to fri. I should hear tomorrow afternoon. They are interviewing for the rest of today and tomorrow morning.
Even if im not successful I am glad I had the opportunity to go as I haven't had an interview for 4 years so I need to get back into the swing of things. Im not going to go over and over it in my head - I should have said this, why didnt I say this, as it is done now.
Fingers crossed. Its so perfect hours wise I will scream if I dont get it lol.'If honour were profitable, every man would be honourable' Thomas More

What a strange phone interview! Really brief - five minutes. Can't make head nor tail of that one. Didn't ask me about what the recruiter said he would (and that I crammed up on all morning!).
I really don't like phone interviews... they are so awkward, and honestly, it seems to be coming from the interviewer, not me. Hmmmm. Tempted to refuse them in future.0 -

Hi guys, it's been a while. I hope everyone is still hanging on in there.
It's nice to come back to some good news. Congratulations Looby, well done on getting the job. You deserve it!
I'm off to China on Monday and I've just been preparing for that - I've got a round of interviews and go-sees lined up. I hope something comes out of it. I want a job
I've also had an interview in London last week, but I forgot to ask when I should expect an answer. It took them two months after the closing date to invite me for an interview - I'm wondering if they'll leave it another two months to tell me the outcome. They kept going on about how time pressured the project was (18 months fixed term contract working on a specific job), but then they seem very leisurely about recuiting for it  I don't think I got it if I'm honest - the personal qualities, personality questions went well, but I fell down on a technical question. I had no clue and had to tell them point blank that I had no clue. Gutted, but I don't feel too disappointed in myself though, unlike last time I failed a technical question, because even if I studied like a fiend I probably wouldn't have come across this. It was in a quite obscure area. On the plus side, the interviewer had a sense of humour and made me feel very relaxed which I appreciated. If only they could all be like that...
Anyway, good luck to those with interviews coming up. I hope we all get good news soon!0 -

Yeah this is the first time I have been out of work for years. I have only ever had about 3 job interviews in my whole working life and 2 out of the 3 I got the job, so i'm really not very used to them. I crammed and crammed and crammed for the one I had today and fingers crossed it will get me the result I want. If not then at least I have a better idea of questions I will be asked at future interviews.'If honour were profitable, every man would be honourable' Thomas More
