I think this thread is like a good luck charm. I've been trying to get a job for the last couple of years with not so much as a sniff of an interview.....I start posting here and within a week I got an interview and now the job offer :)

I hope everyone gets the same luck very soon :D

ooooo yes please pass it on :D

Absolutely normal. One of my interviews is for a temp job, the other one is for a receptionist role where they want me to clean and empty the dishwasher, I wouldn't be too jealous ;)

For an awful moment I thought we were up for the same job but I see that you are in Cardiff! I am in Leicester and also have an interview on 10th April for a receptionist role that includes cleaning and emptying the dishwasher!

I signed up with another agency today, my advisor seemed to be really confident of finding me suitable work. I really hope so as I hate not working, I think that searching for a job is actually harder than having a job!

Mine's at a charity for the blind. I've never worked anywhere with a dishwasher before so if I get it it will be a step up!

ooooo i've just had to bite my tongue! Someone I know is saying how they are spending a lot on petrol and how their car insurance is eating into most of their earnings only leaving them £160 spare a month, then saying it sucks to be me!

How about it sucks to be me??? At least YOU have a job and haven't filled in over 25 applications getting you know where. Doubt they would want to trade places!

Sorry had to rant on here before I have a big falling out with this person

EDIT: couldn't resist and had to put it sucks worse being me!

That has really wound me up hearing that
