I had a fairly successful day.

The Job Centre have agreed to pay my JSA whilst I'm on my course next week, because I need to go on it to be able to sit my last exam and improve my chances of finding work.

They have also agreed to pay for my travel to London, if I can get proof of my interview. :j Have just rung the agency to get them to confirm a time with the client.

A friend has agreed to put me up for a few days, so I can try and fit in a few more interviews when I'm down there. The Job Centre were fine with me wanting to stay a few more days on the offchance of being able to meet with some other companies.

I took up an awful lot of the Job Centre's time today and I was really apologetic, but they were absolutely lovely and seemed really keen to help me find work. They're always nice, I don't know why I'm so terrified every time I walk into that building...

Gah! That's so mean, I hate people like that! The least they could do after you've taken the time and made the effort to fill out their application to work at THEIR company is at least be polite, after all, even if you aren't going to work there you could be a potential customer!
