Let me ask you something, if you were afraid of say spiders and then you opened something that you are about to cook to eat only to find spiders crawling out of it, what would your reaction to that be?
Oh without question I'd be rubbing my hands together thinking 'compensation', same as you. :D

But seriously, I'd think 'oh there's a spider', pop it outside in a piece of tissue and get on with my day. :)

Sorry, you can try whatever analogy you want, the fact is it is a *massive* fuss over nothing. As said above, veg comes from soil, soil contains worms. Some will slip through the net, especially as they're the same dimensions as the average green bean.

I don't think the OP is expecting millions but a little sorry gesture by Tesco would be nice x

I personally don't think Tesco should be giving any compensation.

Well I think it's disgusting they should be sorted from creepy crawlies before being packed - I can understand small bugs getting through but 2 worms that is foul. If it was me I wouldn't be able to eat any dinner now I am really funny about worms and maggots etc etc... I would def make a complaint x

They are sorted, but if you want everything to be eradicated, then the cost would be a lot lot higher. Having to pick up a couple of worms in a piece of paper then put them in the garden is not something that anyone should need to be compensated for.

And what if there were children nearby ? Won't somebody think of the children ?

Well it's not up to you is it it's up to tesco - so the best thing the OP can do is complain to Tesco and see what they say.

I hate to burst your bubble OP but you can go ahead and blink the pound signs out of your eyes - you're not going to get a million pounds in compensation because there was a worm in your veg.

    Sorry about that. :)

A million pounds? I would like a damn apology, clearly this kind of thing affects different people differently, if you knew someone who was afraid like that i'm sure you would understand but that's fine, we are all entitled to our opinions
