[TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM] does have a small-scale setup for printing mugs etc. but outsources big orders.

He now has a long track record of taking money off customers, not fulfilling orders and hoping they will eventually go away. You will get every excuse under the sun as to why he cannot supply goods or refund your money.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from this man or any of the companies he runs, ie. Monster Mugs, Focus Branding etc.

His current registered business address is just for mail and no-one is there. He does not answer any of his phones or his emails if he doesn't want to.

We should shortly be locating his home address though.
  • I've had exactly the same problem - I was chased up by Focus Promotional after initial contact with photos of a sample.

After being told that the mugs were in production I've had multiple calls and emails unanswered. Thanks for bringing Action Fraud to my attention.

There is a website called companies list that gives an alternative residential address for the company. I can't post the link here being a newbie, but if you're interested give it a search.

[TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM] definitely watches this thread - after weeks of no response he was swiftly in touch after I posted here.

He said he'd give me a refund 'less the work he'd already undertaken' and that he'd send photographic proof that the work had been done. Sure enough no such evidence materialised. I again told him I wanted a full refund or I'd take further action.

Unsurprisingly no refund appeared, so I have now taken up the very helpful advice given on here. Thank you everyone for your suggestions - I'd also urge others to do the same.

It's a shame that MSE has deleted some threads. Please avoid putting anything in your threads that allow them to be deleted - it means you can't get your message heard.

They were also on the sheriffs are coming - a bailiff program on bbc1 - they were collecting payment for an order not received or something along those lines so it seems they are a lot out there after money from them.

This was repeated on BBC1 this week, not certain if it was Thursday or Friday though but might be on iPlayer for anyone who wants to watch it.
  • Yes I saw it - I think it was on on Wednesday morning - because I was at work on Thursday and Friday and so couldn't have watched it then.
  • It's on iPlayer, 'The Sheriffs Are Coming', Series 1, Episode 3

Scan forward to around 27 minutes.

He should put 'As Seen On TV' on his website!

Good news that Fleurette1. We're in exactly the same position as you were, having paid over £700 in October for goods, finally cancelling in December and still awaiting a refund. We have given [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM] a deadline of today to pay us back in full before we take some severe legal action. Some very interesting information has been revealed during our investigations!
  • £500 of our £730.80 received by bank transfer this morning, the remainder expected within a week.
