  • Just come across this forum and see I am not the only one that has had problem with Monster Mugs. We place a large order that we paid for but as yet have not had our goods.

I see the Monstermug website is now down and has been for over a two- week

Reading the posts would be interested to here if anyone has had a developments or success with bringing this company to book. I have done the Trading standard and NFD and now wait

Before I go down the small claim route has anyone - has "anyone" succeeded in getting there money back?

Would be interested in receiving the forum feedback

    Thank you

I too have not recieved the mugs that I ordered and paid for costing my charity over £300. I have started legal proceedings by reporting this FRAUD to 'Action Fraud' who in terrn have raised a case file with the 'National Fraud Squad' at Metropoleten Police, London. If you would like to bring these 'Monsters' to book then please contact 'Action Fraud' on 03001232040, the call is free and very confidential and they will be more than happy to here from you and to take action against these Momster Frauds on your behalf.
The more information they have the better the chance of bringing these people to book. [text removed by MSE Forum Team]

Together let's get these rouges. Happy hunting.

He does that, texts you or emails you [Text removed by MSE Team] again. He calls it slander, but as if it is written it should be libelous and then only if it is not true!

Quotes written and spoken by [TEXT REMOVED BY FORUM TEAM]; 'I will bank transfer your money to you, send me your details' he says, 'it's with our accounts department' , 'your goods are halfway through production', 'we have settled our problems with people on that forum, just ask jammy horse', 'we are an honest business', it's not our fault that the printer broke', 'we have been waiting to be reconnected to the internet, all our communications systems have been down as a result' and so it goes on......

[TEXT REMOVED BY FORUM TEAM] people need to contact Action Fraud, they will help you go after this [TEXT REMOVED BY FORUM TEAM] man, do not let him get away with this, its YOUR hard earned money!

WARNING! He's back again! Whilst searching on the internet I came across Hillside Promotional Mugs, when you follow the link it takes you to Focuspromotional.
Guess who this is....... YES [TEXT REMOVED BY FORUM TEAM]. Similar web site and at the bottom you can still only pay by cash, bank transfer, or cheque, in other words by methods which afford the buyer no protection. All the contact details are the same but the originating address and the way you find him has changed. No wonder he has not replied to anyone of late, he's been busy finding other ways to take your money. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Hello 'Ripped off too' - just had a text from [TEXT REMOVED BY FORUM TEAM] saying that you are receiving a solicitor's letter tomorrow as you have said horrible things about him....

I hope he paid his solicitor up front for their work!

He said that on Sunday. Do you think he sends bank transfers to his solicitor, lol. He does not like my new email address (without the gaps); ripped off by [TEXT REMOVED BY FORUM TEAM]

All he has to do is fulfill all the orders he has taken money for and then all will be well. He threatens court action for slander on this forum and others, I have explained to him that it is libel not slander when written, but then, only if it is untrue. Nothing posted has been untrue, he will rip you off, he will take your money and he will give you more excuses that there are minutes in a day, that is his M.O.! ( That'll take him time to work out ) Whilst he is not prepared to employ the law, I am and have instructed persons as the law allows. These things take time, but it is worth chasing. In the mean time, warn everyone you can, [TEXT REMOVED BY FORUM TEAM] will take your money and you will get nothing in return. Do Not send him any money, you will get nothing back but lies.

    Good Luck

Just a quick message to say... Don't give up hope! That's exactly what [TEXT REMOVED BY FORUM TEAM] wants. We received a full refund of the money after getting the National Fraud Bureau and Metropolitan Police involved.

As a company we were in a good position as we have debt collection partners who we were able to action to investigate [TEXT REMOVED BY FORUM TEAM]. They were able to find quite a bit of interesting information out about [TEXT REMOVED BY FORUM TEAM], although we suspended the investigation when the refund was received. The NFB/Met Police investigation is continuing, however, and with continued support and fraud reports they will be take criminal action. I can assure you, it is only a matter of time.

I would advise anyone communicating with [TEXT REMOVED BY FORUM TEAM] to do so via email, so all correspondence is in writing, and CC the National Fraud Bureau, including your case number at the end of each email so they can reference it to your case. Obviously, do not use threatening language and set out a deadline by which you would like the money to be repaid. Every email and missed deadline is another 'nail in his coffin'.

Hope this helps those still struggling to get hold of refunds. Please keep up the fight and rest assured that, unless he offers refunds for all cases on record, his time defrauding people may be coming to a rather abrupt end.

Wish we had found this forum before ordering anything from [TEXT REMOVED BY FORUM TEAM]! Interesting to read that he has been peddling the same excuses out for a couple of years now in order to delay giving refunds.
  • Looks like we are getting the same...
