Do Lionbridge get back to you even if youre unsuccesful at the first stage? Submitted an application last week and was wondering if I would hear anything either way.

I'm in the same boat as you. Hope I hear something soon!
  • Most of us heard back within a week. Good luck :D
The only thing we know for sure, is that we know nothing
  • Incidentally they have an abundance of UK work at the moment. If anyone was thinking of applying in the UK, now would be the time!!

I can second that. They do appear very keen for us to do the work don't they!! ;) Not that I am complaining.

I hope everyone is getting on OK. I have just finished my first full week and I must say it has been getting a lot easier as I get used to it (though some timings are still quite a big issue!).

Good luck to anyone taking the exam this week or waiting to hear back.

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO TAKE TIME TO POST COMPETITIONS
  • I think I'm gonna get fired. My works exceeded the average time very excessively! They says the first few weeks will be fine but I'm still worry. Especially commenting in English is not that easy one to me. Maybe I should practice writing in English:cry:. It'll be getting better.. I hope. Way to go:j

 Be careful sammy, I think sharing this is a no-no.
Everything going well so far for me but it is quite tiring and my speed
is getting better but still needs work.

  • I have got the e-mail now to complete the exam. Got it at a rubbish time to be honest as I work and I'm at uni at the minute. Got it wednesday morning, and i was at uni 10-1 and then at work 1.30-9.30, then on thursday i was at uni 10-3 and then work 4-10. Friday uni 11-3 and then work 3-9, and today im at work 10-6.30, so its my busy week. Would of loved it if i had of got it next week as i do pretty much nothing in my second week. Does anyone have any tips or such they could share? Or is that prohibited?

Hi, and best of luck with the exam!
Best advice is to just take your time and use the guidelines to help you. It will take the amount of time stated so use the full timescale if you can and don't get too overwhelmed with the amount of tasks you have to do. I got rid of the easy ones first then saved the ones I wasn't sure about, and rechecked them before submitting. By the time you've done a few you may want to adjust answers later. I'm sure other people will be along to offer their advice too.
Above all take your time and don't rush them.
