Ohh, finally i'm definately moving - yippee, yay, woo hoo!!!!!
The extra bedroom will be fab as the girls will now have a room of their own - far less wrangling!!!!!
Will be moving in 3 to 4 wks, and so back to streamlining and saving (aka not spending soooooooooooooooooooo much!!!)
CC still needs a bit (lot) of attention as has hit the 1500 mark  plus 150 on another one (and very little to show for it yet again!!) but i'm ebaying my socks off and a few items have bids on them so hopefully will sell at good prices - took advantage of the free listing weekend and have 35 items on at the mo!!

Well it's January again!!! - how did that happen????
Well, we moved the end of November (not the best time of year!!) had quite a lot to do in the house, so it was manic for a few weeks so as we had something livable ahead of Christmas - which is was and i'm now just about getting used to my new surroundings.
Things kinda went a little haywire on all fronts (paying off debt, spending & weight loss) - EEK!!!!
Anyway, NSD on Sunday as it was such sunny day (blinking cold though) we took a packed lunch & visited a new FREE museum in our area - super cheap family day out!!, yesterday NSD at work and intending to do the same again today - just the £1500 to pay off CC/catalogue oh and 3 stone to lose

NSD again today thanks to bootseys loyalty card paying for my sandwich at lunch - dinner was food being used up from the freezer courtesy of DH as he was at home today and i was at work, having the captains petit pois with everything at the mo as morreys had them on offer and stockpiled maybe a little too much :rotfl:
The £20 note i started with on Sunday for the week's expenses is currently still in tact, will have to break into it tomorrow as need milk & bread, gonna set myself the challenge of buying the cheapest freshest bread i can find, surely when i choose not to put the breadmaker on there has to be bread cheaper than £1+ a loaf, i've not looked before as i'm a bit of a brand queen, ahem was a bit of a brand queen until recently:D
A few days ago i put a magnetic whiteboard onto the fridge door and have started writing on it what needs to be used up that day from the fridge - so far it's really working with OH & dd's knowing what needs to be used first - RESULT!!!! as wanting to keep food waste to a minimum, although the kids have been a little resourceful and have added items they would like to think they need to eat up today!!!!:rotfl:
Tomorrow, packed lunches for DD's with sandwich fillings from freezer & xmas leftover bits and bobs ( tube crisps/yogurts/fruit etc) - tomorrow evening stew from freezer - it actually sounds as though i'm getting a bit organised here - eek:eek:

NSD again yesterday - yay.
Went out to lunch with friends today so did spend £8, but that's far better than the £20 i would normally have spent! so i still have £12 from the £20 i had at the beginning of the week, tomorrow i have to pay for DD2's school lunches and it's the first time in months i'll actually be able to pay in cash!!!
Food shopping tomorrow so have to get to grips with meal plans, (mental note, log off of MSE and do menu plans:rotfl:) - cupboards are still well stocked just not with scrummy stuff ( so DH keeps telling me!!), but in light of myself & DD1 needed to lose a pound or two, scrummy food has to be a no no at the moment - both financially and healthwise. Still finishing the last of the xmas snacks/cake - chocolate log & mince pies still in the freezer!, i actully thought i'd not bought too much this year but it's the 19th Jan and we still have stuff lurking around!! - will i ever learn!!
Had confirmation of budget holiday in a few months, so now have a treat on the horizon to aim towards, makes it easier budgeting now and focusing on paying off cc when there's something to look forward to.
Fortunately have £5 off a £40 shop voucher to use tomorrow, so it all helps - as my gran used to say, watch the pennies and the pounds look after themselves - here's hoping!!!!
