Well................
..........i guess it happens but i was rumbling along quite nicely, shedding debts as i went only to then fall off the wagon with a huge (((THUD)))
The debts i had paid off remain that way (phewwww) and i only have a few hundo on just one little CC which truly isn't a worry as 0% for ages yet and will be paid off before change of %.
I turned overnight into a spending banshee (spending being my drug of choice) and have ended up with a kitchen with food bursting from all cupboards and fridge/freezer - mental note - must do freezer contents list ahead of meal planning. My wardrobe is so full i now can't find anything (wearing mix of around 6 items over last 2 weeks (have been washing them!!!) as can't face the few hours it's gonna take to clear out!! and my 'definately getting there' organised house is starting to look a tad cluttered (not aided by the fact we're moving house in 6 weeks - eek)
Soooooooooooooooo - i have to pull the reins back in, my attic has a huge pile of stuff for ebaying which has to go before the move not only so we don't have to 'move' it to the new house but also need the money!!, i have to get more organised in the house as it gives me clarity of mind whereas at the moment i'm foggy and stressed.
Well bring it on.......................
Have a fun filled frugal day

Feeling a tad overwhelmed by stuff today - kinda realised i've not had any kind of routine in place for years, i just tend to stumble through each day trying to fit everything in - i think something has to give.
I work part time, i'm responsible for my widowed mum (as my siblings live other end of country) so take care of all of her shopping, maintenance of her house, driving her anywhere she needs to go and tons of other stuff (more than happy to do as i love her dearly but does take up a fair chunk of time), have 2 children, a house and husband and i'm heavily involved with the kids school pta (i'm chair), plus have lots of friends all of whom want to be meeting up for coffee or popping over.
I've got to the point now where if the doorbell rings unexpectedly i panic that i may have to invite someone in as i maybe haven't washed the floor that day or packed the dishwasher or dusted etc and i hate feeling as though i'm being judged. I know i should have a cleaning routine and i know if i had far less stuff it would be so much easier but i just don't know where to begin at the moment!!!!
ok, i guess that should be moan over.
NSD today as haven't been close to a shop, had last nights leftovers for lunch followed by bolognese my mum had made for us for dinner, now doing the ironing as there is so much i can't leave it any longer - now i'm stressing where i'm gonna put it once i've ironed it as every wardrobe and drawer is already bursting and its gonna end up as though i haven't ironed it anyway:mad:
I know this is all my fault as i've been unable to stop myself spending on clothes, toys, books etc for so many years, resulting in clutter, money wasted and spoilt children who can never find anything in their rooms as they've got so bloody much too.
What a waste...........

well..........
Had to do a little planned spending as had to get the last of my mums birthday pressies, also managed to get DD1 a pair of hush puppy school shoes (black leather) in the Brantano sale for £19 instead of £38 - was soooooooooo chuffed!!
Had a couple of meetings i had to attend so managed to keep remaining money in my purse!! - lunch was kindly made by my mum as i'd popped in ahead of meeting and dinner was jacket potatoes tonight as i was late home so had to be something quick!!
Had a few cake orders in over the last few days which will bump up my income for June (yay - need all the money i can get for the house move) it's unlikely i'm going to be able to take on many more orders as it seems the world and his wife have June birthdays (not complaining!!) and i'm now in the process of making my mums favourite cake ready for tomorrow, i really must check out a red velvet cake recipe as i'd like to try it as cupcakes (mental note) - more ironing should have been done but hey it can wait plus i had hoped to crack on with ebaying tonight but being home late through the evening routine resulting in late bedtime for DD's and now it's too late to even throw a few things on the turbo lister.
Come on cakes hurry up and cook so i can go to bed:j!!
Night all

Hi Trixi - hope all is going well!
I have been awol from this part of the forum for a while as I have had internet problems and have been struggling with keeping up with other threads, I've also cut down on my time so as to get on with other things too.
Need to get on now so will have a catch up on your news another time xxxHere dead we lie because we did not choose

Hey Ruby,
So glad you are still around and bobbing in and out!!!:D
So, today.....
Had a really, really, really (can't stress this enough - lol) bad start to the morning as DD1 didn't want to go to school and i ended up having to physically get her out of the house into the car and drag her to school - absolute nightmare esp as DD2 was looking on bewidered at what was happening.
My mums birthday today so went out for lunch and did some shopping but was my mum's treat as she know's i'm desperately trying to save for the move.
Dinner was split 4 ways tonight as we were all eating up different leftovers and or rice (freshly cooked) i ended up with egg fried rice as had eggs to use up and some of the rice was left plus it's free on the SW green plan (when made with fry light spray not oil)
Kids are now tucked up in bed so should really be getting on with stuff but feel soooooo tired tonight (emotional stresses of the day plus all of that shopping - lol:rotfl:) that i just wanna go to bed, went to bed last night at 1am (well this morning i guess) and then DD2 got up at 5.15am, ideally could do with more than 4 hrs sleep!!!!
Noticed one of my ebay items (only have 2 listed at the mo, hoped to have had around 20 on by now!!) has a bid - yippee, so far £10, so that's £10 i didn't have this morning:T
I think i'm gonna have to go back to online food shopping as i just can't seem to resist the temptations left by the clever marketing teams employed by retailers to keep their profits super high, i'm such a sucker, i just can't resist something i see as a bargain !!! but for me the downside to online shopping is that you can't choose your own fresh fruit/veg/bread/meats etc, and i'm really picky about freshness/cuts of meat (no fat/gristle etc) where as i find i end up with meats mega close to sell by dates, veg that past its best and bread you could use for shoe repairs with how stale it is, so do i online shop for staples then shop for fresh stuff ) kinda defeats the objective really!!) or still go to the supermarket but try to stay strict with my shopping list - Oh i don't know!!!
NSD today too.

Hi! I just read all your posts!
I find the whole Ebay thing daunting but I take it in small steps one box at a time :rotfl:

Good Luck with Cake business!0 -
Hey gothrockchick,
Thanks for having a wander through:D
Until a few weeks ago my attic was groaning under the strain of so many black sacks of 'ebaying' stuff (mainly outgrown stuff from my girlies) but that had become sooooo daunting i had to go through everything and have now donated probably 2/3's of it to local charity so i'm now left with a more manageable amount (still flaming loads) of top end stuff rather than lots of bits that probably may not have sold or would have sold 99p at most (i'm not knocking 99p sales just at the mo with only a few weeks until we move it i had to take drastic action so there's not quite so much to move - (major clutterbug who assigns sentimental attachment to most things - what am i like !!!))
Procrastination should be my middle name at the moment as i'm constantly saying what i should be doing but not putting it into practice, i'm sure my va va voom will return shortly (probably when we get a definate move date and i'll start to panic!!!
Anyway, feel free to pop in anytime xx

Blimey trixie that was quite a day yesterday!
I will be listing a few things tomorrow as it's free listing weekend including a fridge freezer, fridge and tatty old cabinet that will probably bring in 99p!
My house looks like del boys with the stuff the friend who does removals!
I've had the fridge freezer for weeks and not got round to it!
I've also got a washing machine but OH's brother needs that so will let him have that for nought! Here dead we lie because we did not choose

Hey Ruby & rockchic,I hadn't realised it was free listing (yay) surely it was only a couple of weekends ago that it was free , i wasn't expecting another quite so soon (not complaining!!)
No excuses now not to get jiggy with the ebaying, i've got loads to list but a newborn musical baby swing + swinging crib (my baby days are well and truly over!!phewwwww) spring to mind as being a little more expensive to list so this weekend sounds like an ideal time to do it
I'm conjuring up images of only fools and horses thinking of your latest listings Ruby :rotfl:Well, on with the daily ramblings.....
It's been a bit of a nothing day today as i've been ping ponging around all over the place, started with dropping kids at school only to realised when i drove home that they had left their coats in the car and it had just started to rain, so back to school i went! Then had to take OH for hosp appt which meant we were out for 3 hours!!, i did get a sandwich bought for me for lunch though then bobbed briefly in to see a friend i had promised to see then on route back to school picked up some milk to last til Saturday shop.
Only spends today was the milk so really pleased i still have the majority of this weeks £10 still safely snuggled in my purse.
Another friend popped over this evening staying way longer than originally planned, so this evening plans went to pot, but was lovely to catch up.
Have just made a new list of my freezer contents where i now realise i have 52 pork sausages, 4 huge boxes of boil in the bag fish (4 bags in each box), 6 bags of steam veg (each containing 4 sachets) and a billion other things - how many fish pies/toad in the hole's was i thinking i would be making:rotfl:, also have 4 huge packs of steak mince plus 2 huge pieces of braising steak, 2 large bags of chicken breasts plus i bought 2 cooked chickens a couple of weeks ago and took all of the meat off of them and froze it - so i guess we're ok for chicken too!! - Must do the menu plan before the shopping tomorrow as we're gonna hardly need any food!!!
Quite a busy weekend planned, so if i'm off radar for a few day's i will be back!!
Hope all of your ebaying goes ok!xx//(*_*)\\xx
