How come the more i declutter the more untidy the house is - AAAArrrrrrrgggggghhhhhh!!!!!!!!
Sorting a few kitchen cupboards and now the kitchen looks like a bomb has hit it!!!!, far easier to leave it blinking cluttered!!!!!
I know, I know it will be better in the long run!!!
God know's when i'm gonna get to bed!!!!
xx
It has to be get worse before it gets better :rotfl:
My room looks like a bombs hit it and then exploded all my stuff over the room!0 -
Hey all,
Rockchic, so glad your ebaying seems to be going better than mine!!!
I had hoped to list a few more things last night but after the kitchen cupboards episode i ran out of time!!!!:D
Thanks for the idea of museums, we live in a big city in the lovely allegedly sunny south west (hasn't been too sunny today!!) and have quite a few dotted around, i guess sometimes when something is on your doorstep it's easy to overlook!!!
Been a bit of a funny old day, doc appt early am - which resulted i anti b's and a follow up appt next week - joy!!, next my lovely shiny new car had to go back to the showroom for a couple of adjustments so had a cutsey little courtesy car today which was just as well as had to do an emergency dash to the vets with my mums dog as she's been poorly.
So didn't have chance to do anything interested with DD's or at home, fly lady would not be proud of me as i haven't even packed the dishwasher - eek.
Spending today, bought a £5 meal deal at morries and Youth code face cream (need all the help i can get now i'm 40 :rotfl:) which was half price (still £7.50) - put both on the b'card as had no cash with me but i'd rather put the £7.50 on the card and pay it off later today rather than miss the deal and have to buy it for £15 - not ideal solution but it's done:cool:
So now i need to get on top of the washing/ironing and maybe sort another cupboard or two or just get on with ebaying - who know's !!!:D

Hi, my Ebay sale went well and only two bits didnt sell! Now to wait for payment and to package them up! Free listing weekend shame I'll be away when the items go so I'll catch the next Free listing weekend, once again its come so soon too. hopefully the next one will be soon too!
Dont feel bad about putting something on the Bcard sometimes it has to be done! Especially with a bargain like that!0 -
Hey Rockchic,
So glad your ebaying went well, that's brill that only 2 items didn't sell!!! - i relisted the stuff that didn't sell at the weekend but just didn't have time to list any new stuff, gonna have to wait until at least next week and just sooooooo busy this week.
Half term hols didn't go to plan as had a very poorly pooch who nearly popped of the canine coil, truly was such a trauma (i know it's only a dog but she's my very old, very lovely dog;))
So, on the flip side didnt spend an awful lot on entertaining the kids as we were either at the vets or at home waiting for the vets to ring, pooch is a tad better now thankfully.
Very busy week ahead due to DD1 birthday plus birthday tea, sleepover party for her friends, 2 cakes to make (orders) plus 3 tier cake for DD plus cupcakes (orders & DD), vets appt to squeeze in, car to go to garage, food shopping for party, birthday pressie and party bag shopping, heating engineer and the regular life stuff - chores, cooking etc and due to work have to squeeze it between wednesday and friday - also supposed to be meeting friend for coffee thursday am and school meeting friday afternoon - i really do think i won't have enough hours in my day this week!!! - eek:eek:
Anyway, at work now chillaxing before everything kicks off at 9, i'll make the most of the next 20 mins - lol xx

Hey Trixiepix,
Been catching up on your posts whilst completing some surveys! This board seems really quiet lately not that I can talk! Hope you are well!
I'm getting back into the MSE way of life again, like you we will hopefully be moving soon eee! House moving stuff is so life consuming or maybe its just me, I've forgot I need to be saving the pennies!
I don't know how you find the time to ebay so much, takes me forever to list anything you all must be really dedicated!
Good luck with the cake business sounds great fun!
See you on here soon!:DMortgage at Highest:£145,000

Hey little Miss,
I know what you mean with the down here being a tad quiet - we've been deserted - eek :rotfl:
Well done with the surveys, i've been rubbish with mine at the moment, i must get back to it as was quite happily gathering funds into my paypal a/c with the proceeds of them.
I'm so glad last week is out of the way, it was just sooooo busy, but managed to squeeze everything in, including all of the cakes!!
More cakes this week (May/June/July are proving to be very busy months) - have 3 to have ready for Saturday, so there will be a few icing sugar filled days going on later in the week!!
Food shopping was on budget this week £60 and general spends will be far less this week than less as the birthday's are out of the way - phewww.
Provisional move date - (shd be confirmed today -yay) - is 23rd July - 5 weeks away - ((((EEK!!))) - i think i'm going to have a major panic shortly:eek:, we've still got so much stuff in the house that i want to have a good old sort through as ideally want as little as possible in the new house (within reason) - it makes life so much easier if drawers aren't stuffed to bursting and that there is enough space for everything to have a place, plus my kitchen cupboard space is going to be less even though my kitchen is bigger (currently my cupboards go virtually to the ceiling) and i have to home all of my baking stuff - it's gonna be a squeeze until the kitchen is refitted!! (which will be a while!!)
Have a good day

Hey! Im back from Download, great news on the move date
just remember you cant do it all so if some clutter goes into the new house it will go straight out once its sold!
Dont let it get you too stressed, I remember the last time I moved it was a nightmare but you want to do it as soon as poss but thats what stresses you out. Take your time you'll be fine. Im actually looking forward to my next move as I have loads less clutter

Just a quickie to check in as had a horrendous 24 hours - my lovely dog had to be put to sleep yesterday followed by a message this morning that my house move had fallen through, they do say bad luck arrives in three's - not sure if i could take much more.
Have been avidly squirreling any spare money away in anticipation of the move that now isn't happening, so could easily feel like going on a spending spree but trying to stay focused as it makes more sense having money in the bank for when we do eventually find another 'perfect' house.
Think i'm gonna take myself off now to lick my wounds!!
oh, must mention i managed to make it to Morrys on Sunday afternoon around 3ish when they were reducing loads of stuff, bought about 8 packs of cod loin which had been £2.95 each reduced to 25p, 3 galia melons 9p each, 2 trays of roasting vegetables 25p each plus lots of 'ready meals' 49p each - i was thoroughly chuffed with myself!!
xx
