I've decided to bite the bullet and pick my little green toms this weekend. The weather here is shocking, and at least I can make chutney if I can't ripen them with a banana.0

Nooo! You've got loads of time yet! Last year I picked the last of mine in November!
Patience, grasshopper!
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
As impressed as I am that's a lot of toms for a single bloke! what are you going to do with them all?
Eat them! At least, as many of them as I can. I'll give some away, of course; I've given quite a few away already.
If I can find some freezer space they'll be halved & roasted in the oven with a bit of olive oil, garlic & black pepper until they just start to blacken on the edges, then blitzed up to make a lovely roast tomato sauce.
I used Titan to make a pasta sauce today. One tomato to make enough for four. Or three of me.

Oh, like the idea of that sauce, I'm going to try that tomorrow. Thank you

Any scales will do.
Do you have a contender then?

MrBadExample, I love the photos and it is all so neat and tidy. Are you managing to keep the foxes and cats away ?
How many dinners do you reckon you've had now ?
My greenhouse ( toms, cukes and pointy peppers) is seething with wolf spiders living in luxury duplex webs. I have to go in there armed with a long twig to spin the webs out of my way in order to get any watering done.0 -
