........ If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

Ahead of mine. I've got a few flowers that are just starting to open, notably on the grafted "Turbo" tomatoes, so I expect I'll be eating mine first.

my toms are still piddly little plants. How can I make them grow tall and strong with flowers? 6 plants are outside in a poly-green-house and one is on a sunny windowsill. All are looking very useless. I'm in Yorkshire in case that's important. I also have zero patience!!0

Turnips (Arcoat):

I like these - they always grow well, wherever I put them, and mature really quickly. I'll be eating those in a bit, so they're the first real bit of dinner this year (rhubarb's pudding, and radishes just get munched in the garden, so they don't really count). If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0
