Pretty much the same as on a sparrow with only 2ft, except 3 more people can have a leg each.
If I'm over the hill, where was the top?0 -
I have broad beans :j, not big enough to eat yet but they are still there.I am playing all of the right notes just not necessarily in the right order

Noticed last night that my peas have flowers on them. Should I be :j or .
Is it too early? They have really started to take in the ground, and have started growing & just started climbing the nets. Biggest is only about 2 foot high.
My beans are really going for it - around 5 foot high they've climbed. Waiting for them to get a bit more leafy, but again I planted my lot late this year.
MrBE I've no more room to plant any more carrots. I did alternate rows of carrots & onions as I heard onions keep carrot fly away. The onions are doing great, but sadly I think there are only 2 carrots growing.:( I was looking forward to them too.
The free spuds are a happy accident. I'm hoping they won't impinge on the beans/peas too much & will see if I get lucky with them. Never grown spuds before.
My shed has started to dismantle itself. I'll need a new one - not very MSE. On the plus side, it means I have wood to make raised beds next year...It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Can't you re-sow in the same spot, if there's nothing growing there?lemonjelly wrote: »My shed has started to dismantle itself. I'll need a new one - not very MSE. On the plus side, it means I have wood to make raised beds next year...
New sheds are great.
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

Depends on when you sowed them and which variety. We're already eating our peas and mange tout.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
