  • Morning All,

Foggy and damp here, we also had another wee flurry of snow last night, but its not come to anything thank goodness :D Just had porridge for breakfast and 2 clementines, Coco likes them too! It took her a while to take the chance with trying a bit, but she kept coming back for more once she had and is now sitting in the corner pulling a petted lip at me, hoping she'll get more :rotfl: She's getting raw chicken today, that will need to do her, and an apple for her pudding!

Plan for the day is cleaning the kitchen and washing the floors, there's also a wee bit of washing to see to, then I am going out at 1 to meet my lovely sister, I had planned on going past Home Bargains on the way, but have decided to be good. I don't NEED anything, although wanting is a different story ;)

Sistercas, good luck to your DD
JC have a hug, just because :)
Hester, I can't believe your DD is almost due, it seems like only five minutes ago you told us she is expecting.
BBird, I second the possibility of your DD being a bit aneamic, I was like that for the first couple of years.
Adelight I hope you're feeling better, physically and otherwise today {{hug}} for you.

I did have something else to say to someone else but madam is now at the door crying to go out, so I had better move!

Hugs spoons and hi5's (tigz I saw your question yesterday, and will find the link and post the explaination for you when I come back)

    Morning all
Well wet here but i still sent DS on his bike to school as it had eased off:o
NPM hugs for you we had terrible problems with DS schooling he was statmented with ADHD from playschool and went all through primary got to seniors and all hell broke loose they said he wasnt too bad but things got worse n worse and in the end he flipped and ended up in a teen mental health unit and so we asked for a managed move to a new school what a difference he was there 2 weeks and form tutor asked to speak to me and said she was concerned that DS had Aspergers and had e mailed all his teachers for reports and could i make an appointment at the DRs to be referred as the ED Psyche had such a long list cant tell you how upset i was that i had forced him to be unhappy and go to the old school every day where they werent interested. His new school have done so much for him and he is happy to go there and wants to carry on his education at college:D just wish i had gone their sooner when i told previous seniors of his diagnosis they said Oh that explains his behaviour:mad: The right place for Noah is out there its just finding it i knew another parent who said that the new school was good with statemented children after her son had to move there so maybe have a chat with parents of older children
Right dog walked WM and DW are on pasta bake for tea
    Have a good day

butterflybrain, low calorie musaka? pleeease share the recipe!
Molly41, thank you :) and thank you everyone for the good wishes yesterday. sadly i am OH-less but right now i think it is for the best and i shall plod on! We've lived together fine in a student set up since we first met and we're not spiteful or confrontational people, I'm not gonna hold my breath but I think it will be okay...

Morning all. I'm up late, still germy and have plenty of revision and cleaning to keep me busy. Need a good poached egg on toast and a cuppa before I tackle any iterative refinement blahblahs! Doubt much OS will be happening here today, hmm i shall be walking to hand in my assignment, does that count? :D
The storage heater has been on for the last few days, it's stuck on one setting but has made the room a toasty 16/17C and despite waking up sweating i'm loving it. I've already got the extra £30 ready that using it for a month will add on the electric bill.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
  • Glad to see you're getting out a bit Molly, even if it is only being mumtaxi :D

Delighted to see you've turned the heating up adelight, its a shame your relationship hasn't worked out, but you sound like a nice, sensible girl about it all. I'll send you a big sister hug, as I am too scared of being almost old enough to be your mother ;) Will you be up in Brum for the meet next week? xx

feel a bit of a fraud posting when nothing OS is happening :o i dont have the slightest bit of energy for it either. was expecting a visit first thing this morning but they're still not here  wish they would just phone to say they're not coming so i can crawl back into bed  i dont have the will to phone them up and see if they are coming just in case i'm lucky enough that they've forgotten about me :o dont want to jog their memories unnecessarily ;)

anyway rant over - weather is horrible here. wet and miserable. kind of matches the mood really :o
