    Morning All,

Wet and dark here but feels warmer to me and I had the heating off for most of the day yesterday.

Busy day today, I need to get to the bank and house wise the kitchen needs a good tidy. I also have a mountain of washing to put away

First full day on WW new plan yesterday and it went well. Did have a very hungry spell late afternoon but I think that is because I have got in the habit of grazing constantly so that I never get that hungry feeling:eek: anyway determined to carry on.

Dreamt about Australia last night. The pictures look so awful. My son is in Perth, a long way from the floods but thoughts and prayers to all those in Brisbane

    Have a good day J x

  • Morning all, another dismal day today. Need to go and get tyres checked- hubby hit a pothole and it needs balancing, gonna see if i dare go myself- i know a good garage but want it checking quick whilst i wait so going to try else where- i won't be buying new tyres today though, hubby can sort that if need be.
Seem to have a freezer full of meat but no veg! So i have put some sausages in slow cooker with a tin of tomatoes and some stock- gonna see if i can get a frozen bag of casserole mix around at the local shops.
Sorry that everyone seemed to be having a rough day yesterday,
hope adelights feeling better, look after yourself. NPM sorry you've had a hard time at school, must be hard work. I know loads of teachers haven't a clue with ASD, i have had teachers of my daughters mainstream primary at the time ask me what autism is when they knew i had a son with it. It's just not one of those things you can describe very well as it's ok me describing how it affects us but it will affect overs totally differently. Sometimes DS2 can just be naughty, never mind about the autism.
    Anyway best make a mood,
    take care x

Good Morning folks well DGD phoned last night to say she didn't need a lift to college this morning as she has come down with the lurgy. So all I needed was to get half a dozen eggs.Looking out of the window its raining cats and dogs so as I have one egg in the fridge I am going to wait until another day rather than go out and get soaked for the sake of some eggs so another nsd for me today.I shall stay at home and get started on my next essay for Uni.
It looks really horrible out there cold wet and windy so I feel I can be more productive indoors.
    Hope everyone is o.k.
    Cheers JackieO

Welcome to the friendliest board on the site b_girl

Lots more washing emerged last night - I swear it breeds overnight. So I will tackle that today. Will have to use the Airers and TD because we have had rain for two days :(

Dinner tonight is a LC Mousakka - surprised at how well DH is sticking to the diet but we don't feel hungry at all :D

Well I am off to put another load on

    Have Good Days All x

    Good Morning All

Very wet and miserable here, hasn't stopped raining for hours, can't moan really though bearing in mind Australia :(

Another busy day here, its my last very busy one this week though so just need to get through today then winding down towards the weekend :j

Not too much OS, will be on 2nd job most of the day & OH is at work. House isn't too bad though, have leftover Gammon with egg and chips tonight. Have a new slowcooker which I used to cook the gammon in, it seems considerably hotter than my last one so need to get used to it.

Off now, finish coffee then start work. Have a good day, keep dry and (((hugs))) wherever needed.x

    Good Morning.
A really horrid day today with the rain. I now have two youngest sons off school so we are dropping like flies. I have to venture out to also take DD to the bus as she also has an exam today but that will be it and straight home!! Doggies looking out the window but hate the rain - wish they would put two and two together as they are itching to get out but hate it when they outside:eek::eek::eek:

My cash flow problems have been eased thankfully so will be able to order an online shop today. I also have a mound of washing and didnt do DS1 work things last night so he had to find an alternative. That caused a rumpus this morning - dont know how he will manage when he leaves home. I have tried so hard to enable him to be more independent but he absolutely refuses to get it:(

Jackie G - good luck with your return to work x
Adelight - hope you feeling brighter x

    Hugs x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

DD1 still snoozing but it's her TOTM (properly) so she is really tired was thinking of asking the doctors whether there are any vitamins i could give her, as she is looking totally washed out poor love :(.

might she be anaemic? that can make you very tired and pale - might be worth a visit to the doctors x

Morning all! Hugs to everyone who wants one.
Not much going on today here. Have a few bits I need to get and even though they aren't desperately needed, dh is back to work tomorrow for a few days, so no car.
Had a weird but lovely night's sleep last night. Treated ourselves to a new duvet and duvet cover set. Had the same old ones for about 14 years, so it was like sleeping in a posh hotel. Big, bouncy quilt, felt strange but so nice. Dh and I kept giggling and loved it! Kept getting cooked last night though!
I haven't made a meal plan yet, and must get down to it. I have a freezer full of food, but no clue as to what to cook.
Took salmon out of the freezer for lunch for dh. I'll just do him a big salad with it. I have a load of Quorn things in the freezer for me and the kids. What on earth do you do with burgers apart from burgers??????? I buy them when I see them going cheap. I am trying to get us all to eat lots more veg, so at the mo it's salad with everything, corn on the cob, steamed veg with a sprinkle of chilli and parmesan to encourage dd1 to eat them.
Was going to shop around for car insurance today, but I think I will leave it to Saturday as the forum will be down. I should make a list of what's in the cupboards and freezer and do a meal plan I suppose.

(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...

Good Morning Everyone. Yes, it's wet and misearable here too! Really makes me want to just curl up on the sofa with coffee and a book!
Friend hopefully coming to repair a ceiling in the small bedroom today - has needed doing for ages so will be a good job if it's fixed at last.
Washing is on, but will definitely be going in the dryer afterwards. Probably ought to make another loaf today. Need to think about supper - DH won't be in so will have to cook for myself!! better have a dig round in the freezer - must be something in there. Hope you alll enjoy today. take care, whatever you're doing.
