i dont think it's a case of it being denied if you are not entitled to use it or it wasn't sent to you, it's that it was used to order items it wasn't valid onIt's definitely not definately!0

if it says 0.00 at checkout, then you havent been charged
if it doesnt then u have0 -
Lillibet wrote:I received it through the post, addressed to me as I have an existing account with empire. My order arrived today & YES I have been charged. Usually I would return it with "discount not applied" on the return slip, that way it costs them in delivery & pick up for thier mistake, however in this case I like the item in question & think (for once) that the quality is worth the price so I will keep it & phone my next order through & ask for my discount then.
Lillibet - i too, like you got the letter through addressed to me with the code, then used it and got charged full price, however i called them today and they took the £5 off, so i would give that a tryFunky Little Frog0 -
Spud wrote:I agree. I was sent it and have used it with no problems. Clearly they are charging people who are not entitled to use it.
Nope, i got it sent and then i got charged full price when i used it, so its not the case that only the unentitled are being charged, but as i said below, i got it back after calling.
However this did probably happen to me because of all the 'others' (not as in lost!) using itFunky Little Frog0 -
How exactly do they charge you? Do they give you a slip you have to pay or else?0

Im guessing its like all other catalgues were you will receive a payment slip in a few weeks time.
I didnt bother with this myself because I think something like this happened last time they had a code going.0 -

Mine said £0.00 at checkout and in the confirmation email but i have been charged as i used code on a sale item - and the t's and c's of code state only can be used in items in autumn winter or xmas catalogues. I emailed as i had been charged and this was explained to me in reply.
Can't believe people talking about trading standards!!!! If your not happy to pay £4.99 for your item then return it - its free! Or give as a gift or even ebay it!!!!!!!!0 -
i got a letter yesterday saying my reference number (as i rang up for them to send me it because i didnt know it) and also in the letter it said " you have used the PS0081 code multiple times so only one order will count." so i am receiving my curtains free of charge soon .......
...... but people dont worry if you have been charged just either ring the number on your recipt and ask the courier to come and collect your unwanted parcel free of charge and then you wont need to pay anything or take it to your local post office and stick the label on the recipt onto the package and then its freepost so just give it to the person at the p.o and then you dont need to worry about paying.\o/\o/\o/\o/\o/\o/\o/\o/\o/\o/\o/\o/\o/\o/\o/\o/Care to take a bow?0 -

Find something worth £4.99 or less from Autumn Winter 2006 or Christmas Giftbook.
Then just go to the checkout and enter the code in the order code box : PS0081
its free delivery
ENJOY!!!
I've just tried this and managed to enter the code in the order code box but the last checkout screen still quotes full price. What am I doin wrong? Don't wanna click on order and end up paying!;)Jan GC £28-49/£120 NSD's 15/17

Mongmoney, just wondering if you pressed "zero zero " in the code, I nearly put Capital"O". But it is zero zero and once I clicked on to deliver to my address, they changed the amount to nothing to pay. Hope this helps. x0
