Boston was busy with people buying sale stuff at 50%. Not alot of decent stuff left so if it did go 75% I wouldn't go as would just be buying stuff for the sake of buying and that isn't money saving!

I wouldn't be surprised if the 75% sale doesn't start on a Wed this year. I reckon they're waiting till they feel they've squeezed all they can from the 50% sale - & it sounds like they weren't happy about MSE publicising the 75% sale last year. I think maybe they've told store managers to be ready for the 75% to be announced at any time - get the shelves ready, stock out, etc, just don't put up the signs till Head Office says go. I'm going to leave this thread open on my computer so I can check in first thing every day till someone confirms its on!

Consoled myself by going into Hotel Chocolat, where I was the only "customer", had 2 sample choccies, then bought an £11.30 Christmas box of dark choccies, reduced, by 80%, to £2.26. :j They were gorgeous!

Ooo what time were you at Lakeside? I was there this morning I spoke to a lovely SA today who said their manager was going to phone HO to see but she said they won't be told. She did tell me that there were ppl there with their trolleys this morning!!

Great bargain on the chocs!! In Superdrug i got some of those cadbury Koko truffles for 99p!! Bought 3 bags which will make a nice addition to my 3 friends' birthday bags!!

I wenty in to my tiny Boots this morning poised to go ! The sales assistant was lovely and checked to see if the prices had gone down, but she said she didnt think it was.
She said I have been told its the 27th of January as I wanted a perfume set and was told to wait till the 27th.
I hope it helps a bit, but you never know !
