Boots 75% off sale - possible date

Still at 50% in Brighton in the rain quite a lot on shelf some things are 5 deep got all different things left as well. had to come into town anyway got my two boys birthdays this month had get the 16th banners and balloons so not a wasted time, would have liked to pick up some extras for youngest boys bday this sat never mind hopefully fingers crossed mr boots will play nice and have it next Wednesday and I can get some nice goodies on my other boys 16th bday oh well I can but dream lol.

come on mr boots get your finger out there's other stores with there 70 and 75% going on show us your lol

popped into our small Boots toay and the staff were chatting about it as i passed,i said "oh was sale not ment to be 75% today"..the SA who i know said yes but THERE IS TOO MUCH LEFT from the half price sale so it was cancelled....our store has a small shelf of sale stuff an tbh i can live without missing it at 75% off....if they have loads left then i dont blame them for not putting it lower!mind you looking at the website there is nothing that good left in the sale anyways.

I spoke to my Postman today and he says that his wifes best friends cousin says that her hairdresser told her that her aunts next door neighbour knows a guy who works for DHL, and that the guy who works for DHL said that he spoke to a Psychic who says with absolute certainty that the Boots sale didn't happen yesterday, but it might happen next Wednesday if the tea leaves at the bottom of his mug of coffee are to believed.

This thread makes me laugh. Reading the posts,right up to midday there were posts saying the store at such and such a place was still 50%, i think it was pretty obvious by 9am that if it wasnt on in the stores posted about then, the others werent going to have it.
Then there are the conspiracy theories about the huge movement of stock within the store so it must be starting. No, i can tell you now it is because they have to merchandise displays for the suncare and re-extend the departments that got cut back pre christmas. No great mystery, thry just wait for the initial sale rush to die down before doing it. In the case of where my OH works, they have a team doing it at night.

I must say though that Boots are shooting themselves in the foot by holding off the 75%. So many people know it is due that it will get to the point that they wont shift anything at 50%. OH has told me the store has been dead all morning.
