Boots 75% off sale - possible date

Just had an email from boots that I subscribed to, they are still advertising the 1/2 price sale, so doesn't look like it will be this week:(

I was listening to two woman who had a basket load of stuff, they were saying that they were getting it just now because the shelves were getting cleared tonight and moved to another store. Maybe there clearing out smaller stores and moving the stuff to larger 't stores. Don't know if that helps!

Gawd, there's some rude people on here....

As some others have pointed out leave the SA's alone, they don't need rude and abusive people having a go because they are doing their job and acting on the instructions of their managers.


Sheesh...it's a sale...it'll happen....at least everyone hasn't been staring at the orange couple on the holding page for 5 hours....now that tips you over the edge if anything were to.

I have the opposite happening in my local little store its suddenly become filled with big sanctuary gift sets after having hardly anything last week lol

No 75% off @ Newport store. Apparantly it was supposed to be today but for some reason hasnt happened. More stock on shelves and they appear to be gearing up for the 75%. But no one apparantly knows when. Watch this space .................. Good luck with the bargain hunt.:)

Dont get me wrong the place was fuller that previous years, but when you see people having a large basket of stuff it just attracted my attention, then I heard their conversation about getting it now before it was all moved/cleared tonight. The boots store was really busy last year at the 75% sale so I don't know why they would want to move all the stuff, it flew out the door by 9.30 am last year, so there is no problem shifting the items. I was just curious to the large basket of items and almost panick in their voices, like if they didn't get it then they wouldn't get it at all. They also mentioned something about 22% discount they would get.

I've been reading this thread for a few days and just wanted to add my info. I used to work in Boots and I went in to ask my manager when the sale starts, she said she had no idea, but that it's normally on a wednesday and is most likely to be on the 19th. Also overheard 2 members of management staff at another branch waiting for public transport this morning say "they still haven't decided when the 75% will start have they, and we've got loads more stock than last year" basically they don't know yet! does this help? probably not but I thought i'd add my pennies worth to the thread.

Does anyone know if those Experience Events (the trips you get for couples) that you pay £99 for will be in the sale too?
I have had one before and used it to do all of London with my husband.
