loads of the hat boxes and larger sets in my local boots had been opened when I went in at 5 this evening and looked to have bits missing, I know they arent worth the original asking but didnt seme worth the £10 either with what was in them! I reckon bits have been taken out, perhaps put in to another hat box!!

Well I'm gutted!!! The one day I cant get to a store until late evening, the sale is on!!! Had several doctors appointments this morning, followed by computer exam in the afternoon. Fella drove me to Middlebrook store at 5:30- hardly anything left... picked up wrapping paper, xma cards, the one remaining fair trade hamper thing... not a happy bunny...

Now boots online is saying either out of stock, or when I try to add it says out of stock...

There goes my stocking up for birthdays/xmas

*slopes off to sulk in corner while still checking online* lol

i know what you mean, but if you've a big family it can become very expensive, there are so many big day's peple nowadays feel they HAVE to celebrate-birthdays, mothers day, fathers day, easter, valentines, xmas.

i;ve got an embrrassing question to ask, how long do these toiletries last unopend, i know the make up has 6 or 12m dates on but isn't this after thy've been opened? Would the tolietries last until xmas 2012 say??

Well, I got lucky. It was no t advertised at all outside. Went to my small local one and there was no-one else in buying, just me so I had the pick of the stuff, Gu chocs, No7 nails and eyes kets, mens set with headphones, 17 dazzle eyes and 17 make up sets, Toni & Guy hair kits. FCUK bag set. Cup with a little sweater and tea bags (!!!!!!?? mums birthday, LOL)

Then hit the one on the trading estate, was not as busy as I thought it would be to be honest but got loads more stuff there JO aprons, totes gloves and socks, loads of R&M (tired to use my voucher they said no - a girls got to try), s FAB photo notebook and pen set (got loads fo these for pressies for teachers in summer or Xmas, you can put a photo in the pen too, quite good for £2.50.

So I am sorted for this years birthdays and ladies Xmas pressies, not much any good for men.

Oh and I got (myself, LOL) a birdsong alarm clock. Might give that a try tonight.

Bravo to the Boots 75% off sale! I feel that my life is now complete!! I spent £75 in one store and £50 in the other, also picked up some FCUK sets when spend £4 so got handwash and hand cream for our bathroom and 2 free sets. I feel so pleased with myself, now just have to stash it somewhere. I'll give the MIL 'no smellies next year' bloody cheek - they were all good expensive ones at that!! So now she has an apron and some gloves. LOL!! Touche!!
