Fearne has sold out on line! Must be all her celebrity friends!0

Aaargghhh!!
I popped in to Windsor and spent £60, they had so much stuff left it took me a long time to think my way round it.
Got back to the car to find a £50 penalty notice on the window :rotfl:for overstaying my welcome at the carpark.
There goes my saving:wall:0 -
Are the toys reduced to 75 percent off and the clothing too?0
-
Hardly any toys and there is virtually nothing left on line.0

The person who earlier said users on here were greedy is way off the mark in 99% of cases. Not greedy here, just times are hard and buy things in the sale to help.
Wife and I were delighted today as we have covered birthdays, mothers/fathers day & nearly all of next xmas. It means the high street vouchers we save for all year can be spent on our kids. Easy for people living at home with folks buying a couple of gifts a year to pass judgement but try raising a family on a tight budget and covering a massive family/friends present list too.
List if anyone interested....

We don't buy for ourselves in boots sale (a few bits put away for kids) as we get plenty of 'smellies' for christmas.0 -
hiya, after staying up all last night and surving the whole 'unavailable' website madness in the afternoon I popped into local boots en route to college at 6pm and couldn't find anything (poor SA's looked sooooo knackered). I crossed over the road, went to Barratts and bought a pair of boots (footwear) in their sale with the money i didn't spend with 'Boots' online. Feel so much better now. Well done to all those who stuck it out :0)0

Yes there were a small amount, about 10 in the Bmth store. But think the ebayers grabbed the lot and were emptying the stuffing out of them to fill them with other items. Saw a few people with over 30 baskets full... very very greedy! I'm just glad I was first in queue and that there was so much stock left to begin with.0 -

I was quite glad not to be in the Bournemouth scrum this year, made me feel sick last year how some people act.
Didn't get to Bournemouth until about 5pm - nothing worthwhile left at all.
I really hope my online aquadraw and Happyland order turns up. It's all I really wanted anyway! If my words are missing letters then please excuse me....my keyboard is a tad dodgy!!0 -
What I find disgraceful is that Boots are still showing 301 things available in the sale. When you look more closely, there are only 33 sale items that aren't OOS, and a similar number that are in stock - but are now full price!
But you know what? Nothing will change! They've cleared everything they wanted to, and next year there will be double the people both instore and online.
Boots' motto is "it ain't broke for us, so don't fix it". It's natural that people will feel so euphoric that they'll post about their purchases, and their hassle-free, spur-of-the-moment shopping experience, both online and instore, and it's equally natural that people who planned this for weeks, perhaps sat up all night, or made complicated baby-sitting/work arrangements, and then didn't get a thing, will not share in the euphoria.
I missed out on toys for the DGC, but I got 3 annuals for £1 each on the Sainsbury deal. I didn't find a deserted branch that had a plentiful supply of No 7 Ultimate Collection boxes, but I did get a lovely dressing gown from M & S in their sale.
Life's swings and roundabouts, just like the Boots sale. So, thanks for the banter, have a nice year, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year (2012) and see all you Sale Bootsers next January.

Was this an official Parking Fine from Police or Traffic Warden? Or was it an unofficial/ non-enforceable one from a private company? If an official fine it has to be paid, but if it's from a car parking firm (eg apcoa) it is not enforceable. (sounds like a car parking firm with £50 penalty)
If it is the former it has to be paid. If it is the latter you can quite safely ignore it
