Redten have refused to accept all my letters to them, Clode and NJP have accepted them just fine, so they at least have a written complaint with supporting documentation from me prior to 11-4-08 but I don't know how I can ensure that Redten have my complaint.

I just don't trust these Redten cowboys any more after all this bother they've dished out to us and I can see them refusing to accept that I have any sort of complaint against them as they have no written complaint. :mad: This stinks :mad:

According to NJP I've currently used 3.4GB of the imposed 15GB cap
so why are they restricting me to this??
Am now unable to even connect to Clan game server, thanks DEADTEN!

It's like a Europe based 'Walled garden'

I also can only watch about 1/3 to 1/2 of any video on Youtube before it timesout :mad:

Lol no I was referring to what "misspain" said about you should have said we havent instead of they! thats not an accurate test of what you get is it youve not used to the local server to do your test what it is to another country ie sanfrancisco is irrelivant you need to use the local test triangle nearest to you to then make a complaint about what you are getting locally do it again and post the result here from the nearest triangle point that should be marked yellow then see if it the same if so then you have every right to moan at your speed test result doing the one in sanfrancisco means that could be going elsewhere before hitting it

or even better go to bt speedtester and then see what it says just a suggestion because if i were a provider that would be my first point of excuse that your not doing a fair speed test

Better Mr H? As in I had editied my post and I knew it was you.

It's not what you know, it's who you know! But knowing everything helps too!

and to prove it in a way i just done two tests one from local server maidenhead and one from sanfrancisco ca. at same site speedtest.net
the results are as follows :-
maidenhead
45ms ping time
down = 3741kb/s
up = 358kb/s

and san fran is as follows :-
321ms ping time
down = 2105kb/s
up = 321kb/s

and everytime i do a test i get different amounts from san fran but on maidenhead it stays almost solid as before!!!

I always use the Dublin server as the maidenhead one is used alot so doesn't always give good results.

I'm glad Clode are monitoring this forum. I all suggest we list what external action we have taken. Mine is as follows:

1. Complained about Redten to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA)
2. Complained to Ofcom about Redten but also highlighting Clode's responsibility
3. Written to Trading Standards - my local one about clode / redten, local london about redten, swansea about clode.
4. written to my MP
5. emailed martin

What shall I do next?

bad idea then youd just be capped with almost no usable internet they did that all ready to all the others that hit it i for one am not doing anything to use too much just incase i get limmited to no or virtually no use internet access im just going to sit patiently till it is all resolved and not jepordise what little i have got !!!
