Please Dont call the Inda Tech Support Number! It just rings (what appears to be a ringtone) and charges you.
My phone bill per month with bt is usually around £30-£35. To date without line rental I've Spent £77 (called 150 Bt's calls since last bill option) Not only am I paying for non existant broadband but I'm paying for the calls to chase and sort this matter out!
I'm fed up and out of pocket. I've decided to speak with CAB duty solicitor and tell them the whole story of redten not only changing Terms and conditions making my broadband connection unusable when I've hit a 5GB limit but I'm faced with a Finance contract that ignors its responsibility telling me I should contact redten. Redten don't care. They know they have us all by the throat and I'll say this in caps to make sure they understand that WE ARE PROTECTED UNDER CONSUMER LAWS. These Companies that trade have legal obligations and they have not notified us by email or post to changes in our service becasue they know that they would get the responce they have. Many, many people ringing them, emailing them and seeking each others help on internet forums.
As a individual I WILL take this matter further and if I need to use the Law and the courts to decide. I've done nothing wrong. But I'm faced with hassle from Redten the broadband supplier. Clode the Finance company who have decided to pass the buck.
Please stop calling redten and clode. Its costing you time and money. Just ring Consumer Direct they will tell you what you need do.
Now I shall go depressed at the thought of a HUGE PHONE BILL comming my way.
Redten get you act together and do what we pay you do.
Clode you need to put more pressure on redten! Clode know they have the obligation to make sure the quality of our purchase is what we expect.
I also hope The Managing Director of Clode had a nice holiday. I spent most of mine shorting this problem out.

Sorry for the rant Guys but I've had it! I'm not the only one. I'm getting to the stage where I'll do anything to sort this mess out!0

Don't apologise dafftbint123 - good post.
I am taking it all the way to Court too.
I'm disappointed that I am being forced to do so.
I'm also bitterly disappointed in the lack of coverage of this scandal in the computer press.0 -
Does anyone have an idea how many subscribers there are to redten?????0

I Asked clode. They comfirmed it was over 10,000. 10,000 well angry customers. Enough to topple a medium sized company if we all have to take them to court.
I must remind people if you cancel your clode Direct Debit you will default on a credit agreement!
Take advice before you do anything like that.0 -
i for one am taking this all the way, they have gone way too far with this0
