Yes - Cumwiddit oh great champion of the consumer!

I agree. I'm sure none of us hold Martin responsible in any way - he thought it was a good deal at the time - as did all of us.

But now it's clearly gone pear-shaped, he ought to be doing or saying something. Otherwise he's letting all of us down.

Absolutely, I'm not looking to lay the blame. But Martin is presumable a well connected and experienced chap and should be able to give us some useful advice.

I do find his silence on the issue so far very disappointing.
Beware the character seeking personal gain masquerading as a moral crusader.

Yes, especially as we were told the situation was going to be brought to his attention straight after the Easter break
  • get the advice on which, out-law.com,broadbandchoices,consumer direct.
  • write to redten, njp, clode finance and tell them redten has broken your contract and tell them how. keep copies.
  • write to trading standards in luton and tell them whats happened, copy all your docs to them.
  • BEFORE 11.4.2008 write to redten and njp, tell them you do not want to accept their lesser service; exercising your right to withdraw from contract without penality. Request a mac telling them they have 5 days to produce one. keep payments going til you get your mac and have migrated.
  • if they dont give mac report them to
trading standards luton; OFT;OFCOM. ask OFCOM to contact BT wholesale to help get their tag off the line and to give you a mac to migrate.
  • write to your mp by email and ask him to urgently intervene. He/she can do other things on your behalf.
