I was just speaking to OFCOM there,their advice on how to get another ISP if having problems with getting your mac code is as follows "speak to BT about getting another phoneline into your house then sign up to another provider on the new line then contact redten and ask them to pay for the new setup of a line and the costs incurred with having a second line".
Have to say i am speechless

Yes they did they were really unhelpful second time i have phoned them and got nowhere.

did anyone who got transferred to NJP get their mac from the bt walled garden and tried to use it?

i got my mac from the bt page on the last day 17/03, but i had already been migrated to njp, so wondering if the mac will work for me.. then all i have to do is cancel my dd and have my card cancelled. no pc to return and no clode contract.

after more than an hour on hold to REDTEN again i spoke to a supervisor who told me they were working on the issue and would call me back at 6pm. when i asked if that was a promise he told me no, i asked to speak to a manager and firstly he refused then said he would try and put me through to one then cut me off
