A big thank you to everyone who has replied!
To everyone who said he is adorable, he is! I have already grown attached to him (took about 5 minutes!) and will be more than gutted when he goes but I just cannot keep him.
If you have no luck anywhere else can I suggest Friends of the Animals.!
He's gorgeous. Here's the link for The little dog rescue http://www.littledogrescue.co.uk/, you could also try The Refuge http://www.therefugeforums.org.uk/forums/, good luck in finding him a good home.
Thanks everyone for the above links; I really like the look of Friends of the animals and the Little Dog Rescue!I hope you find somewhere soon before he gets too settled with you. Good Luck.
Think he already is.:(
Have you tried West Yorkshire dog rescue ,the dogs they take on are fostered into homes and given a full assessment before being placed in home checked homes ,I do know someone who would be interested but he would have to be good with cats and children ,do you know what he is like ?.
Will look into that also. As for cats and children, I do not know………. He has never lived with either so I don’t know how he would be. Thanks anyway.

I will think about neutering, if I cannot find him somewhere because he is unneutered I will consider it.
Again, thanks for the suggestions, I will update when I know more.

could be worth having a look at www.doggysnaps.com it's a free sign up and there are some good forums with access to a lot of dog lovers and there's a section specifically for rehoming, which might help and also a general section called the Lamp Post, where I've seen many a dog find a new home just from people posting their info on there. x0 -

OMG....so so cute. I live in Lancs and am thinking of getting another dog to keep my erm, lump company during the day when I'm at work. However, we are still waiting for ours to go through her first season and wouldn't dream of taking an unneutered male.
So if you are struggling to rehome perhaps neutering him could be the way forward - particularly if the new owner is going to have to shell out for a round of vaccinations as well. I just got an email back from my DH saying he matches our baby! :rotfl: He's got his priorities sorted then!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Can anyone let me know how long it takes a dog to recover from neutering and is it a terribly painful and traumatic thing to go through? I only ask as he has had enough trauma in the last month so don't want to add to his problems if at all possible.0

Only a few days...if he was a female I'd say longer. But he's obviously not!!! Ha ha ha. They usually are themselves within 24-48 hours. Just have to keep an eye on the stitches and wound for a week or so if I remember correctly. Although it's been about 15 years since we had a male dog neutred. He was just wobbly from the GA.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

He'll be fine. But it does mean he can go into a new home settle, and not THEN then go through it. Plus it secures he won't be used for reckless breeding of cut things like him. He'll bounce back very quickly and won't miss what's gone.0 -
Awww he is adorable, if only I had the room for him I'd take him in and love him so much, saying that though my house would be a zoo if everyone would let me
I hope that he finds a loving home to go to.
Give him massive strokes from me please

Oh bless him. Such a sad little face. He needs a good family home asap doesnt he. I think Little Dog Rescue may be one of the best ways forward.
Good luck to the little man.
NB, A little boy like that will bounce back quickly from the "op". My boys were hardly fazed by it and one of them was a "big boy" in that area which causes more probs.0
