Thank you for the second part of your post aliasojo but can I ask you not to be so harsh on Padstow. They were only responding to an obvious attack on me which included being called confrontational and agressive, being "shouty", and over reacting to constructive criticism after being accused of those very things. If anyone needs reporting it is obviously the poster who started it all as they were "not nice" to this particular moneysaver .

I appreciate that, but the posts you mention were raising points that they felt may have a bearing. I'm not for one moment suggesting I agree with them, so please don't think that, but their posts were at least offering another view on the whole situation, whereas Padstow's were simply abuse.
Anyway, let's move on now. Fingers crossed for you.Herman - MP for all!0 -
Do try BADAW too - Paul who runs it, is a really nice man and would do his utmost to help any dog.0

Just dropped by to see how the op went OP? Hope little Bailey is okSome days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!0

Very quick update as I am about to go to bed, Bailey is on the couch, is now minus his bits and is doing fine but feeling very very sorry for himself though that may be the plastic collar he is having to wear as well as the surgery.....
He is eating and drinking and has done his business for the evening so thats one less thing to worry about.
Will be keeping him for another 2 weeks while he recoveres so thats taken a bit off pressure off with regards to the rehoming for the moment but I am obviously still looking!
Will read the new posts tomorrow.

Yeah, I'm glad he was okay too. I hope he recovers fast, and you find a genuine, loving home for him soon.
Have you spoken to the Dogs Trust to see if they can help? They may have suitable fosterers, or be able to advertise him over the next two weeks while you've got him. Sorry if you've already approached them, ive got a memory like a fish!0 -
Glad all is well. I took my monster to Pets at Home before and she stole the lead out of a mans had and started running away with this poor dog. Initially the dog looked chuffed and must have thought freedom. Unfortunately Belle had other plans and sat it at my feet!! She literally tapped it's bum with her paw and barked...it sat and she wagged her tail! She had a look on her face as if to say...mummy look what I brought!!!
I was mortified, the man was laughing his head off!! :rotfl: I had bent down to pick something up and although she was on the lead, she did it that fast I didn't have time to react. Was funny when I realised the man wasn't going to yell at me.
She slobbered on it a bit and then they went their seperate ways - tails wagging. Thing was, the little mite looked a bit like Bailey, just taller and a bit fatter! Soooooooooo cute. :rotfl:Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
