Well done. Now you can cook lovely things and and buy lots of bargain foods and freeze them. It will really increase the quality of your life. I am going to get one in the summer when next door have taken their stuff out of my garage (i let them use it as they are nice).

Dont let missnastypants get you down she is jealous as you are good at your job and positive, we can all see it. I am making a chicken stew tomorrow as everyone is having stews at the moment. Yum. Day off tomorrow hooray.

You got me thinking about what you said, whilst I want a FF and Chest Freezer, I could really do with a new washing machine first. My LL left his stupid washer dryer when he decided to rent out the place, but it puts holes in everything, have had the engineers out and they say don't overload, I don't and it still puts holes in everything! So have decided to buy a washing machine instead. Will tell LL, so if he wants to buy it instead but I doubt it very much.

But we have local shops that will probably charge a lot less than Comet/Currys etc so will go and have a look later this week. Thanks for the idea

Thanks guys for your evening posts - I tend to go online between 5 and 7pm and then move to the lounge for the TV - I really have to move on down my wishlist and get me a laptop. I am thinking it will be in June, when the security cover finishes on my desktop. Then I can chat to you all in the evening..

SA oh my gosh i feel much better. Dojo you are adopted. I have a big family. Last night Puddings married Vixarooni on our thread. It was a virtual wedding well we planned it and everything. I do like it when happy stuff happens.

11.34 am ..... I have walked out of work! There is only so much I can take and the little madam just went too far this morning. Apparently I am impossible to work with and my work methods are "unacceptable" and all this from a 21 yr old!
Boss out of the office, as usual, no one to back me up or take control so I voted with my feet and came home! I have spoken to my night time colleague, an ally ( who I was accused of being "bum chums" with ... charming) and texted the boss. We will just have to see if I have got a job to return to.
It is ironic but I only get £5 more income from this job than if I were back on benefits.

Sweetie dont worry. You did the right thing. I hope you are pouring yourself some wine and have the tv on. If poss can you call a friend so you are not on your own. When this happened to me i went to see the viceprincipal and told her i quit then i started crying. She went ape not with me, with the rotters. It actually meant they had to do something.

Be chilled. There is only so much carp a person can take and littlemisssmellypants will get a good kick up her backside very soon from the boss. If you can email them with what happened you will have the upper hand. She sounds like a right cow. Are you close to hampshire? I am happy to come down one weekend to be the customer from hell and i am a nice person. There is no reason for anyone to behave like this it is not fair and not right.

Please cook something nice and be chilled if necessary ring me if you want to rave and rant and most important, you did nothing wrong and you have many friends that care.

I have met the boss this afternoon for a coffee and I have told him everything. it sounded so petty and childish but that is what it has become. He has asked me to go in tomorrow morning and sit down with the two bosses, her and me and thrash it out.

The trouble is I have not got anything in writing and I have been there since October, despite many, many requests!
No written offer of employment.
No job descrption.
No terms and conditions of employment.
No written company policies.

Bad practice really as I keep getting told what the "rules" are but nobody seems to have any written rules or policies so it is all hearsay and subject to imagination.

Let's see what tomorrow brings but I am not upset like I was when I was made redundant last year from a job that I thought would be forever. That was like when my marriage ended - I felt cheated, like my ex husband cheated on me. Not this time, I will just find something else if neccessary. Their loss.
